Is anyone else experiencing those weird Madness 3 Skillchecks?

Was playing with a friend on gideon against doc.

When I got a skillcheck, sometimes it started as a regular one, but then just changes place after "blinking up"? I play dbd since 2019, but this isn't how madness skillchecks used to work, is it?
