The Clown and John Wayne Gacey

After watching the documentary on Netflix about John Way e Gacey and doing a bit of research, I’m convinced someone at BHVR was inspired JWG when making the Clown. His lore involved him killing a man, much like JWG. Additionally JWG used chloroform on some of his victims and performed as a clown at children’s hospitals and his nickname was Killer Clown. DBD I’m side-eying y’all…makes me hate the Clown even more to know he could be pervy.

The whole evil serial killer clown archetype originates from this man, genius. It's not a secret.

Everyone remembers the painting from the Street Fighter movie of M. Bison looking like Napoleon. No one remembers the painting of M. Bison in the style of John Wayne Gacy's self-portrait of Pogo the Clown.

There was no need to be unnecessarily rude. Some people may not really be aware of these things.

ot: some of Clown's add-ons hint at some perviness too, so it definitely makes sense that he'd be inspired by JWG.

I thought that was pretty obvious. Clown is basically all the killer clown and creepy serial killers combined into one. Even gacey went by different names as a clown just like Kenneth with his different personas (mr puddles)

Funnily enough Leatherface is based/inspired on Ed Gein.

Doctor is based on a real life chinese doctor who treated videogame and internet addiction with electroshock therapy, he didnt kill anyone but left a lot of teenagers with horrible side effects.

For you, the day Bison graced your village was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday.
