About the Grind

I only have the game for the past 3 months. And this morning I had 2 Killers as lvl 1. I decided to lvl Pig to 15, so I could have all the perk slots to test the Killer out. After almost 300k BP spent, the picture bellow shows what I can build with. There is no way this can be an enjoyable experience.

That means, for a new player to test out every killer as a lvl.15 he would have to spend close to 7mm BP. Considering that this particular player gets 30k BP per match, that means 250 games played, just to have every killer at lvl.15. 20 minutes per match, thats 85 hours of game play. Just so you can learn the game.

Cmon, if this doesnt get a word on the 6th year stream, ... I mean, its obvious how it needs to be fixed.

And that is if you get 30k bp per game which is pretty high (without bbq).

I always play bbq because of how hungry the bloodweb is. For people that don't have bbq, grind is a real issue.

    Bamboozle, Enduring, Lethal Pursuer, Discordance/Surveillance

To test out killers you don't need perks

You can learn the killer even without perks.

The devs said they were working on a bloodweb rework (or something else to help with the grind) a long while ago, either before or during the last anniversary stream, so yeaaa it's been a while and I hope they at least mention it in the upcoming livestream.

You have at least five or six ok perks there, I’m not sure why you think you can’t win with this. (Nemesis and Hangman’s Trick are both useless but the others are all ok.)

This is the main reason why I don’t recommend the game for new players. The grind is far too overwhelming. Spending hours and hours in the game earning blood points that mostly get spent on useless items, offerings and terrible perks that you don’t even want. I had a few friends that starting playing the game with me a few years ago, and they all gave up within a month because the grind was so overwhelming. And that was back when there were a lot fewer characters and perks. Now it’s just completely out of control. We’ll see if the devs roll out any meaningful improvements with this upcoming anniversary. I’m not hopeful, but maybe they’ll surprise us.

New players should stay away from this game. It does not worth to play with this grind.

The thing out of reach is the source of your desire. Take it away and boredom sets in.

Yeah the grind is real. I have about 1300 hours in the game and I have about half my survivors P3 (not including Yoichi) and all my killers Level 50 (not including 4 of them). Only one survivor has all the perks on them. I probably haven't spent my BP the most efficiently the whole time, but I started my journey of P3 all survivors over 1.5 years ago. The grade reset rewards definitely has been nice, but the overall grind is terrible. I always run WGLF when I play survivor.
