You can flick with Pyramid Head
Did anyone know about this? And if you did, why hasn't anyone talked about it? If Pyramid Head mains start to flick their Punishment of the Damned, I will be terrified.
But if this is actually newly discovered, all credit to my friend for finding it. And it's called "Pre-Sword Flick" and "Post-Sword Flick".
I hope to see more Pyramid Heads after this xd

I've already been doing it. It's very fun (and satisfying). Not to the extent as its seen in the video because that's a pain in the ass to control, but

So when are the cheaters going to start exploiting this?
3 -
Is this possible on console?

They’re harder and rare

Care to explain how he is doing that long after planting the sword?

After you hit to fire your POTD your turning cap vanishes before you're locked into place. High sensitivity, or combining the Turn Left/Turn Right keybinds with mouse movement, allows for some extreme flicks, but even on regular sensitivity you can get some decent flicking going on. It's quite precise on the timing but once you get it into muscle memory it's easier than you'd think.

Nope. Even if i just hold down the turn keys, it instantly locks me in place and shoots where i am looking when i hit fire.
When i put on 6000 dpi, same thing
6000 dpi and turn keys, same thing.

I'm honestly not sure how he does it. I think you need high sensitivity and just drag it fast across your desk as you shoot, I think

Figured it out. Its tied to fps.
At 120fps potd locks you instantly and shoots. At 20 fps i was able to almost 180 and shoot, and at 60 fps you get about 45 degrees.

Which explains why I've been able to then since I normally play at 60fps

Good ol' bhvr code lol.

There is allot of things that are tied to fps in this game. They had to lock it to 120 because 144 supposedly broke flashlight saves from lockers.
Its trash tier old school code that nobody uses any more.

Wdym "Broke Flashlight saves from lockers". Like, can't you do them or is it super easy?
0 -
You couldn't do them if the killer was above 120.

I've known about this for a hot while, been this way since release.
Its easier on console to do it as soon as you fully channel your power, pull to direction and you'll flick, its not a wide flick like the thumbnail in that video suggests but...its a flick

This isn't on the level of being a cheat. Even Blight's J-flicking required you to amp your mouse dpi and sensitivity to an ungodly level. This tech only requires a frame-perfect input (which is actually quite skillful by definition). I give it a rating of "hug-tech" on the unintended mechanic scale.
