in General Discussions

they did it. they fixed gen-rushing. how could they. i only recently started doing it. if you don't know what i'm on about the then you probably haven't seen the new killers perks. one of them makes it so you can't Dwight gen-rush without having the killer know about it (unless there a potato). it doesn't make it impossible to gen-rush, it just makes it riskier.

    New killer has a perk that let's him see when multiple people are working on a gen.

    I would hardly call that a fix, though. You have to have the killer, the perk has to be teachable or you can only use that killer, and there is still the old 3 people doing 3 gens while someone runs distractions rush.

    Yeah. It's only kinda faster to gang up on a gen with Ruin in play so you get less skill checks.
    I don't think that's ever been a tactic used by survivors though.

    Gen rushing is when people are ploing gen left and right, being more than one person on a gen is detrimental in term of time since it would ammount to more time spend on gen that if they where each on an individual gen.

    Also unless they give you an additionnal perk slot it doesn't fix a gameplay flaw it just slap flextape on a wound and say that it's better.
    You fix gameplay issue by changing gameplay, not by giving an optionnal item.

    oh. i thought gen rushing was when the survivors get gens done VERY fast. my mistake. i also meant when survivors use leader and prove thy self and do gens together wich gets gens done pretty fast.

    It is when survivors are doing gens very fast, but it's usually fastest when they split up.
    It's like in the first minute and a half, they have 3 gens done, then the other 2 like 2 minutes later.

    It's harder to do one gen at a time, even ganging up on it, but possible, I figure.

    pretty good so far though its cold as balls

    here its cold, very windy, its raining hard. the rain is worse then all of last years rain and it hurt!

    might rain later i hope for snow but it will probably just be heavy rain my office is not insulated well at all though so i have my coat on full time

    it snowed twice in the last five years and that was in January this year. its quite annoying actually because it just gets freezing cold and rains stupidly hard.
