Dash perk counter?
I keep seeing survivors use the dash perk to get to a pallet just when I'm about to reach them. How do you counter this, I know it's coming, but I can't do anything about it. I tried using Coup de Grace to reach them, but their dash is faster than my swing. Help anyone.

Hope your opponent is dumb and screws it up and/or uses it wrong
That's unfortunately the only counter to Dead Hard unless you're using a one shot character like Bubba and can nail them with a one shot hit when they aren't injured...

dead hard is for the most part a bad designed perk, but not much worse than many m2 killers that can hardly be beaten without it in chase, (dead in matter of seconds without it and even with it) u must be way more aware than they are at using said killer.

It's a very badly designed perk, so at this moment the best you can do is:
• Wait it out - whenever you get in range of your attack, just continue chase until they use it. Nowadays survivor are REALLY patient with waiting out your attack, but sooner or later they will do it
• Swing early to bait it - works almost every time, you'll lose some speed and distance, but you'll have their dodge out of the way
• Look quickly upwards to bait it - When you get in the range of your attack and move your camera quickly, they tend to take it as an incoming attack and use Dead Hard.
But until they rework this perk, be prepared to see it A LOT. Expect it from every survivor you meet, even if they don't have it, until you have a confirmation, play around them like they got it. Good Luck :D

There is no counter for Dead Hard when it's used for distance, unless you play Artist, so play Artist now

You can counter every single base-kit Killer Power in the game without Dead Hard. If you can't, that's a skill issue, not a "Killer Power being OP" issue

Here we can see that even new players / not so experienced players are having hard time againts this stupid bad perk.
Please rework (aka nerf) it ASAP.
