In this 'Killer 1v1', we'll look at 2 similar yet totally different Killers, those being Artist, a long range sniper able to injure from afar and from up close, and Executioner, a Killer with an amazing 1v1 that also has a few cages tucked under it's muscles.

So, who's better? The Bird Mommy, or the Cone Shaped Head with muscles?

This one was hard! I'll have to go with Artist because of her ability to shut down pretty much every loop in the game and how she can pressure gens.

I think these two are pretty close overall. I went with Pyramid Head only because I think he has a vey slightly easier time getting injuries and downs with his attack mid-chase and also because his Cages are actually big time savers.

Plus the cages are very good for tunnelling someone out fast if the situation calls for it. Artist has better chase but I think pyramid head might have a slight edge when factoring in his whole kit.

Artist has a lot more potential and while also being able to shutdown loops, she can use her power to scout. Only thing Pyramid head really does better than her is being able to counter survivor hook related perks like BT and DS but this also means running hook perks of his own might not be the best idea while artist can use hook related perks with her power really well. I think they're very close in strength but I put Artist slightly higher than Pyramid head just because she feels more versatile.

Artist's power feels great at short loops while Pyramid Head's could not be more awkward to use

You can lead a survivor into your Crow, you can't lead a survivor into PotD unless they're commiting to a vault/drop action.

Pyramid Head. He can tunnel someone out of the game quickly.

    1. Torment survivor, down and hook.

    2. Tunnel off hook, down and cage.

    3. Tunnel out of the cage, no BT or DS.

Artist can provide early map pressure and locate survivors fast with her power. She also can injure/down survivors from far away and can shut down almost every loop in the game.

Pyramid Head doesn't get that early map pressure and survivors usually don't run into his Trails Of Torment. It's also very easy to predict his Punishment Of The Damned and some times it doesn't even hit a survivor when it's supposed to.

    Executioner (Pyramid Head)

Artist is much, much better when her playstyle works out - however, when survivors learn how to hold W and prolong chases, the power becomes very difficult to use correctly.

Executioner bypasses many trappings of killer design and ignores many anti-tunnel perks that could otherwise hamper the Killer's momentum.

Artist shuts down gyms and loops, but encourages survivors to waste the killer's time.

Executioner can better effectuate hits with a skilled player to attain greater momentum faster.

They're very similar - dangerously close.

If I had to bet on a match, I'd guess Executioner, simply because he bypasses many meta perks and can shut down loops much faster in the hands of a skilled player. Lots more utility overall than Artist, who still has to spend time hooking and waiting out BT and DS all the time.
