More changes Trapper absolutely needs to receive
So he had some a little back that were good but he’s still one of the worst killers in the game. Trapper should have all of his traps at the start and remove the possibility for survivors to escape in the first few tries. And perhaps some add-ons basekit

I never understood why Trapper has to be the only trap based Killer in this game that has to collect his traps from around the map before being able to place them.
Giving him all Traps at the beginning would fix many of his issues, most notably the lack of map pressure which results from his long setup time.
Same goes for his Trap escape RNG. While I don't necessarily mind there being some RNG, there should be a minimum amount of escape attempts Survivors need to do in order to escape a Trap. But, just as is the case with Pigs Jigsawboxes, the Devs think the game would be "boring for Survivors" if you had a set amount of tries you had to do before getting out, so this will most likely never happen.
A third thing that IMO needs to be addressed (still) is the visibility of his Traps on the floor. The new grass makes it incredibly easy to spot them, especially on maps with brighter ground beneath it. They should eiher thicken the grass or make his Traps harder to spot.
I think those are his big 3 problems. Fixing them won't make him top tier, but will significantly help him to actually use his power throughout a trial, which I think is enough for now.

trapper will always be the worst killer in the game and that's ok really. his buff gave him what he really needed to not be as rng and addon reliant as he used to be and gave him a perfect addon pass. tho making first try escapes not be a thing would be a welcomed change otherwise i think trapper is in a decent spot.

Lockers should restock his traps instead of restocking them one by one at random spots Reason: Setting up traps is very time consuming.

He should get a special trap he can only use during chase. And maybe a bit less radius of steping in his own traps but still keep this in game cause it's funny and cartoonish when he does.

I found a viable upgrade plan for the trapper :
Basic set :
At the start of the game 10 traps are placed in front of all windows on the map.
The trapper always has these 2 basic traps.
The trapper can move a trap even if it carries these 2 basic traps, without add-ons.
The Trapper starts the game with 2 traps and can pick up and move a third trap, without requiring an add-on.
All traps placed, reset every 25 seconds, again with no add-ons.
The trapper can deactivate his traps without stepping on them. To do this, he stands in front of a trap and presses the secondary deactivation button to be able to pick it up.
When the last generator is repaired, 2 traps appear in front of the exit door opening lever.
This is what can make the trapper interesting.
Time is too important in a killer, especially for this killer.
