I know tunneling and camping are strategies but hear me out...
... litterly getting out of the game after 2 minutes.
Soloque is hell. You have teammates unhooking you, even if you dont want, cause you get tunneled out.
It wouldnt be so much of a problem if surivors get a tunneling and camping bonus, so they atleast get on 15k bp. Its frustrating to wait out for a match, wait for the loading screen and then camped out.
The strategy itself is okay, if you wouldnt loose a pip and so much bloodpoints. That frustrates.

You get survivors that unhook you? Lucky, I get the ones that are completely blind apparently even when I run kindred and the killer is on the other side of the map chasing someone else, and no ruin in play so there was no reason for them to stay on the gen.
Yeah, real fun, lol

Solo que is terrible. I got tunneled by an Oni and still had more points than one of my teammates that ended up with 6k. Idk how that’s possible lmao. The worst is when you know a killer has a mori and your trying to ######### on hook but your teammate still unhooks you

I would still face camp even if it gave the survivor more blood points, to be real with you. I am sorry you got the teammates you got, truly, I am. If it makes you feel any better, the ones who farm their homies are usually my next target as they demonstrated they are likely not a great player.

Who said that the killer wouldnt camp as much? Its just for the survivor who couldnt do anything. If you actually get something out of it, more players dont mind the camp in the first place.

I actually agree with this.
Losing pip in this matchmaking shouldnt even be a thing anymore for both sides.
And survivor should get extra BP for being focused a lot and killed fast and/or being camped. Which would make people less suicidal while being facecamped.
Gives teammates more time to do gens, you get extra BP and killer gets to face camp kill you. Everyones happy

literally getting out of the game 2 minutes is not a problem if game didn't take 10 minutes to find.
And it's the reason why killers are still better than survivors to play as, despite how rigged this game is.

I've said this before. Distraction points.
500 bloodpoints in the Objectives category for every gen completed when you are hooked and the killer is within 24 meters.
200 bloodpoints in the Altruism category for every survivor healed when you are hooked and the killer is within 24 meters.
1000 bloodpoints in the Objectives category for every gen completed while you are being chased.
400 bloodpoints in the Altruism category for every survivor healed while you are being chased.
They need to be in the Objectives/Altruism categories, because those are the categories you are missing out on when you are tunnelled and camped out of the game, and unable to interact with other objects/survivors. You could potentially max out your Boldness via chases, so any bonus BP in that category would be wasted. And Survival? well you're not surviving, you're being tunnelled out of the game, so tough luck.

Maybe also some extra points at the end when camped if the survivor stays on the hook for the whole duration. In the way of struggling for the whole second stage gives another 1000/2000 points for enduring for your teammates as a sacrificial distraction independent of what your teammates actually do.
This MIGHT disincentivy instant hook suicides against for example bubba's. But at the same time might increase the baiting potential, dunno.

It's not a strategy😂 it's just gameplay.
And horrible gameplay at well.
Timeout box
When a survivor gets hooked they go to the timeout box while in the timeout box gen speeds slow down until that survivor is released from his/her box. A dull key spawns somewhere on the map and is used to set that survivor free. Dull keys are removed from the Blood web and no longer used for the hatch.

I literally have the most fun farming Survivors like you though.

Getting camped is so BORING I don't even get to play the game for 2 minutes!!!!
::sits in exit gates for entire EGC to taunt the killer::

This attitude is actually so obnoxious in the community I'm so sry 😭
Like a survivor will bring up an actual valid complaint / concern and then a killer main will be like "Oh you don't like waiting in queues for 20 minutes and getting camped & tunneled in 2? Stop taunting the killer in EGC!!!!" Like how did we get from point A to point B cuz I'm scratching my head.

I think you missed the point entirely... I'm not sure how else you could find it so incredulous.
Hanging on a hook for 2 minutes is boring. But teabagging in an exit gate for 2 minutes apparently isn't. You're not sure where the connection is there? There's a very obvious train of thought from A to B.
The issue, as you rightly alluded to, is the queue times. Not the camping/tunnelling. Otherwise, survivors wouldn't hang around for 2 minutes at the exit gates to teabag.

I'm pretty sure I've got teammates doing that when I play, at the times where survivor queues are relatively small.
Trying to apply something rational to that behavior may prove difficult.

Yeah, getting killed first in a player elimination game is never fun, that’s sort of a general problem with all player elimination games across the board. It’s especially bad design in board games for example when you have player elimination and the game takes 30 minutes or more to finish because then you have someone stuck doing nothing forever while everybody else finishes the game. It’s more tolerable in short games like DbD where a match is around 10 minutes, but it’s still not fun getting knocked out early.
As far as “camping and tunneling” go:
- I’ve long said tunneling is a meaningless buzzword, nobody agrees on what it even means let alone why it’s a problem. Getting downed or hit twice in a row seems to be the only common criteria which obviously is not an issue, it’s just part of the game.
- Literal face camping is an issue the devs have acknowledged and said they have been working on trying to find a way to steer killers away from that tactic. Unfortunately they haven’t so far found a mechanic that both somehow discourages or limits the ability to facecamp but that also doesn’t break something else in the game. I suspect for example when they made Pyramid Head’s Cages teleport across the map if he was near them that they used the opportunity to internally test something similar for hooks but probably decided it didn’t work well with those for some reason. But they do understand that if killers feel (rightly or wrongly) like standing at a hook for two minutes doing nothing is a working strategy then it leads to a scenario which is boring for everybody of a killer not chasing anyone, someone on a hook and the others just holding the button to do gens.
- Other forms of “camping” are totally fine. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with playing zone defense, aka “proxy camping”.

Its the only strategy at high level while survivors have 15 other strategies against the killer. Maybe tell the devs to help killers out instead of keeping them so boxed in?

As a killer, why are you waiting? Why don't you just chase them out? That's what I do. Then it takes basically however long it takes to get from one gate to the other. Which is less than 2 minutes.
