Bugged Killer Powers really shows the need for Concede option. Sooner, the better

Take your time doing the gens... it's fine.

Yeah... Go ahead and boon 12 times to get your Bloodpoints.

It's not like I'm stuck AFK in the corner unable to get any points while I wait for the match to end...

C'mon, the sooner you open the gates the sooner we can all move on and start getting real points.

I don't have Blood Warden, and even if I did, I cannot attack or hook so it'll never activate anyway, why are you waiting until the last second of End Game Collapse to leave??

About a week ago I had a match against a bugged Nemesis that couldn't use his power and was stuck moving extremely slowly. We tried a couple of things, but nothing got him back to normal, and at that point it was pretty obvious the guy just wanted out. I had to open the gates because my teammates kept crowding around him trying to beckon him to a hook. I mean, I offered too, but after the fifth or sixth point the dude clearly wasn't interested, and it was painful watching him crawl across the map at approximately downed survivor speed. Even then, everyone else hung around until last second for some reason. Like, if you're going to commit to sacrificing yourselves, sure, but what on earth is the point in waiting? The Nemesis didn't want moral support, he wanted to move on to a different match.

Then it gets worse when you have survivors that take advantage of the bugs to torment the killers, or worse, deliberately invoke them. I remember the Deathslinger reel bug from about a year back; that was a mess.

That said, I doubt they'd add a concede option for things that aren't meant to be in the game in the first place. Same with being able to exit the game safely versus cheaters, who can sometimes prevent the natural end of the game from occuring. I think a more convincing argument for a concede would be when two survivors are hardcore hiding, or when the killer is completely outmatched and the survivors won't finish the gens in favor of trolling the killer for the next thirty minutes, but BHVR's really fixated on the idea that everything is fine as long as the game will eventually end.

Yeah, had some 4 man take me hostage with the reel bug on Mother's Dwelling.

Sat there for an hour or two getting messaged and ######### on Xbox. They had all the gens done, they just refused to leave.

Why weren't you able to DC if this happened?

If anything they should add a concede option for survivors, for when the killer decides to rain on your day and let you bleed out rather than trigger the EGC.

And another apple vs oranges comparison 🤦

When the survivor is bled out their game ends in 4 minutes.

When the killer is stuck or unable to interact anymore the end of the game is completely in the hands of the survivors and it's their choice to be fair and end it quickly since nobody will earn much point or anything OR they can decide to keep the killer hostage with a DC+penalty as the only out.

Doesn't surprise me since both sides have shown to abuse every glitch they can to harass the other side. See boil over abuse, your example or survivor getting stuck or getting trapped in corners and #########.

Once again both side do it but the survivor side is subjectively so much bigger that you see it more often from them.

I feel like there should be a timer, after which people on either side can concede without a penalty. Long enough so you won't reach it most of the time in a normal match and it can't be abused by people just wanting to dc, but there in case of extreme instances of people getting stuck or hostage holding or cheating. Someone shouldn't have to sit in the game for 30 minutes to an hour doing nothing for no reason and being forced to take a penalty because there was no other option

Hell, hackers alone are enough reason to have concede.
