Most and least eerie map?

Most eerie for me is a cross between midwich and lerys.

Least is coldwind or eriye of crows

The darker version/first version of rework Lery had the best level of spookiness out of all the maps, although Lery still holds up in that area even now, albeit not as much.

Hawkins was pretty spooky, I still remember the tension I felt when repairing a gen while constantly looking back and forth at different entrances.

If we're going by sound, I'd say the map that sounds the most eerie would be the Artist's map.

    Eh? Ehhhh?

    I'm wasted on you people.

More seriously, I'd say the most is probably either Midwich or Lery's, the sound design and visuals for those maps are legitimately unsettling. Least would probably be... any of the McMillan maps, honestly. They're pretty inert, in terms of creepiness.

Creepiest is Midwich by a long shot. It's got built in jumpscares and the atmosphere is just fantastically dark and freaky, with the juxtaposition of childrens' drawings and twitching mounds of flesh. Silent Hill knew what it was doing. (Honestly, I think RPD would be another contender if it weren't for the bright orange entity bits - those ruin the atmosphere for me.)

Least eerie is Ormond. It's bright and snowy and the lodge is fairly cozy, what with the furnace and bar and relatively pristine bedrooms.

OLD Lerys was absolutely terrifying, it was much darker than it is now, even non stealthy killers could use the eerie atmosphere to make survivors experience horror.

Actually most of the pre-reworked maps were eerie and very horror like. After every rework maps get brighter and lose their spookiness.

Least spooky map has to be Eyrie of Crows for me. It's such an empty map. Yeah, the main building looks cool if you look up inside, but that's all this map has to offer.

I wish they fixed and brought back bouquet offerings. It would make it possible to bring back the eerie feeling to the maps they unnecessarily brightened up

Most I feel like new Haddonfield is pretty good the new houses give some phasmophobia vibes.

Least is probably Red Forest I'd literally chill there.

Midwich is the creepiest in terms of lighting sounds and general look

Midwich is definitely the creepiest map. It's dark, has a couple of jump scares, and just has an unsettling atmosphere with the strange noises, tormented souls in the cages, and flesh piles. Everything looks out of the ordinary and unsettling.

Least scariest would be Dead Dawg Saloon. It's just a dusty old saloon in the Arizona desert. Not really scary.
