3 players make me almost leave game.

Today when i was playing Killer for some fun and also for some missions to complete i met three people that were over-using flashlight under game, and after game were over. I bite through whole game but these 3 people blinded me so much that i felt sick. That flashlight effect is not good for me.
Every time i get blinded and after game i have to go to bathroom to calm me so i don't puke. I don't like to feel sad and uncomfortable when i play games. I love DbD, but i hope flashlights effect can get changed because after my play with me i am scared to even meet survivors with that item.
I know on most forums that give out names are forbidden so i shall not do that. But i do have names on these 3 people if any mods will check it out. I also record any games i play as well because i do love making short videos.

This. For makro clicking make it that you can choose to hear/see clicks ony once every x time, for flashlight and flash bang blinds make it go dark instead of bright. It's not like dbd is about realism, so flashlights darkening the screen instead of brightening it should really not be that difficult.
Though. As for Doctor and I also think Onyro (other killers/powers as well?) it might be a little more challenging since some of the light effects are part of the power and changing them might put those turning on the setting at an advantage.

No point providing their names or your recordings. No game rules were broken. They’re simply using an item in the game.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t Lightborn also completely stop all blinding effects on the killer? If so, shouldn’t it be a permanent perk in your kit? I dunno, always using one perk sounds a lot better than being pushed to the point of vomiting to me.

At first I thought OP was just complaining about over-use of flashlights just making killa player sad but it does sound like an accessibility issue where the light patterns make them sick. Yes, there should be a setting to tamper down the effect of flashlight blinding if it is not already there - so long as it cannot be used unfairly which it doesn't sound like it could be.

Use Franklin's for the time being. But some sort of safety mode would be good.

Lightborn does stop blinds altogether, but it really shouldn't come down to using a perk to cover for what is an accessibility issue. The strobing can just generally be hard on the eyes for some, but for others it can cause nausea or straight up seizure events in the worst case. This is not the first time someone's came to the forum about the flashlights. Not to mention not everyone has Lightborn available to them if they've not bought from the shrine, leveled up Billy, or just are unlucky enough to not have it show up in the bloodweb.
