I have to watch it on my bloody phone cause my laptop hates me right now

The chat is like 50% people talking about homosexuality, so that's something I guess.

I need that Wraith funko. Like I will fistfight someone if I have to.
Tentatively thrilled about the stated focus on clear timelines and promises they're only making when they're ready to deliver on them.

Did they post a code? Does anyone have it?

Oh man, this is such good news.
Yeah, it's pretty neat :)
Fingers crossed for some really good QOL changes for the game.

Holy hell, RPD rework? I honestly never believed the endless griping about that map would have any effect. I'm really curious to see whether that'll involve changing the loops/eliminating bad or dead areas like library/adding more staircases, or if they're going to deal with the size of the map and split it into two separate maps. Either way, mega promising.

Can we talk about Mathieu's entrance?
"So anyway, like I was saying..." vibes

You see Matt's tho? You'd think they were about to reveal Obama with how dynamic that shot was.

Meta Perk nukes and overall Perk buffs? Seems oddly promising.
EDIT: Regular Perk updates to not have a dominant meta? They really are trying this anniversary
1 -
OMG FORTY PERKS!?
2 -
Hopefully they split it.
It's a map that is just a misery to play on, whether I'm a survivor or a killer in that game. It's convoluted, confusing, way too big and has too much safety in some areas while no safety in others.
While it has it's issues, the new Haddonfield is a great example of an awful map being made into something pretty damn interesting.

40 perks, holy-

If they don't bake the BP aspect of BBQ in baseline, I'm going to riot.
2 -
No more giving hatch.

Crutch Hard in the mud. We love to see it.

Trash change. I like giving hatch.

I don't like the vertical menu

Actually really good announcements so far. Curious to see the finalized patch notes when they eventually hit PTB and these "matchmaking improvements."

...I was really buying their analysis of high level perk usage before they said Self-Care was a common perk in high MMR. Because what? Self-Care is ubiquitous at low level play, but in high level play, it's secondary levels of common at best. CoH is far more common than Self-Care.
Meta overhaul sounds deeply intriguing and I look forward to it, though I do hope they realize BBQ dominates because it offers bloodpoints more than the effect it provides. And Corrupt isn't remotely overpowered, it just slows down the game... ideally they take a look at why that's necessary in high MMR.
New prestige sounds GODLY. Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes. Oh my god this has been so needed. I cannot express enough just how fantastic this is. No more perk roulette on freshly levelled characters? Glorious. Granted, I was going to freak out about uncapping prestige, but then they revealed it won't reset items or perks. Whew. Don't want to lose those 111 cakes on my Plague. I think I'm not going to prestige anyone until this comes out - no point in losing my stuff when I'll be able to keep it eventually.
Wonder what's going to happen to the mori offerings? I do like the idea of a finisher mori, especially now that mori offerings are more cosmetic than anything else.
Overall, unbelievably promising first segment. A little worried about how the perk overhaul will go, but equally excited; mostly I'm hoping it focuses more on buffing undertuned perks than nerfing everything that's good.

Dredge and Haddie confirmed on the website

Loadout presets. Finally, I can save my blind Artist build and not swap each Perk one by one individually

Saving layout is coming.

These changes are almost too good to be true. Please tell me it will all come sooner rather than later.

Yup. I've been holding off on prestiging in the hopes of precisely this sort of change coming.
My big gripe is going to be the possibility of losing the bonus BP on BBQ - but fingers crossed.
1 -
what's that? i missed it

Pleasently surprised so far

Yeah... if they nerf BBQ because it gets used too much that's classic 'management' decision. Looking at stats and numbers and not understanding the reason for them.
I wouldn't use BBQ if it wasn't for the BP boost. Honestly for We're gunna live forever and BBQ their boosts should just be default anyway.

The Self-Care usage may be due to different regions having different metas maybe? Or maybe the MMR cap is very low and easy to reach. Otherwise I also can not really think why Self-Care would be one of the most common perks at high MMR. Unless maybe they accidently tracked how often Survivors are healing themselves, and it's counting self-heals from medkits / Circle Of Healing as Self-Care?
Overall, unbelievably promising first segment. A little worried about how the perk overhaul will go, but equally excited; mostly I'm hoping it focuses more on buffing undertuned perks than nerfing everything that's good.
(Some) nerfs are likely needed, otherwise there is a real risk of powercreep. If you want to see what powercreep can do to a game look at Hearthstone or Guild Wars 2.

Wait, is that what they meant about the mori being automatic for the last player? If so, that's an awful change - not just for losing hatch carries, because that's a fun part of the game's culture, but because ideally I'd want to see moris see a little more light of day than just one at the end of the game. Like, at that point I'd rather use a red mori. Imagine only being able to take a Ghostface selfie when nobody's going to run by and photobomb...
3 -
any prestige changes? Like not losing inventory? I don't wanna lose the 90 bloody party streamers on my p1 jake
1 -
I think it's made to end games more quickly. If you want to give hatch, don't down the last survivor.
I'm neutral to this change
