IF I HAVE NO REASON TO FEEL THREAT OF BEING DISCOVERED BY A KILLER IF I KNOW I CAN KEEP GETTING MULTIPLE CHANCES PER ATTACK TO ESCAPE AND RENIG THE DAMAGE FROM THE THREAT?

Rewatch the VOD, he was referring with how it directly relates with the game.

I watched it. He is bringing his own RL expertise and talking about the horror aspects of DBD and why we enjoy it. Not how it should be balanced around it.
DBD is a game not a real life scenario, so why should people feel like the killer is a threat 100% of the time? The game has perks to allow you to survive because it is a game, doesn't mean there needs to be a reenactment of what an actual predator makes their victims feel.
