Prestige Level 3 rewards for those that are already P3 - Exclusives?
Hmm... what's this?
Very happy to hear about the prestige and progression changes although am now wondering if I'm going to miss out on exclusives if I don't get to P3 on characters before the new system is released?
Or perhaps it's just more BP or Shards based on the number of characters you've prestiged?
Could this be clarified please?

It does mention further down that players that haven't prestiged will be "compensated for their time investments" although I don't think its referring to the same thing as above:

I know this post kinda dead on arrival but it's VERY bittersweet for me. It reminds me of the choice players had in 2016, on whether to prestige or not when they first heard about exclusives (legacy skins) for prestiging.
With this news I have to decide whether to P3 my characters quickly before the deadline (much like the legacy 24th Nov 2016) deadline OR to just wait the new progression system BUT THEN potentially (probably) miss out on cool exclusives if I do that.
But if I prestige before the update I will lose all my progression and special items and offerings like the 3rd year anniversary cakes.
Very very bittersweet news.

I'll be interested to see what these are, I've P3'd a number of characters, but stopped entirely when I decided it wasn't worth it, but poured many millions of BP into characters I've never prestiged at all. So I have a foot in both camps here.
I'm mostly happy for new players, since getting those vital teachables onto all of the killers/survs was a pain.

I'm happy prestiging will no longer remove all the perks/items/addons you already have. I'm also glad to see that if you put BP into characters without prestiging you won't be punished for it. I have some characters p3 with all perks and it's really not worth starting from scratch each time.

57 exclusive rewards sounds promising for me (technically 58 because of Playstation)

I have every character with max perks, but not prestiged (except sadako).
So although the new prestige system is really good news, the news of (what seems to be) exclusives for already being P3 is essentially encouraging me to prestige and lose all of my progress BEFORE the new system comes in place (which ironically would let me keep all my progress).
I don't know what to do ☹️

its most likely going to be a legacy 2.0 situation, where the reward you get has no actual value other than being rare.
hey, maybe they will actually bring back the old legacy skins for this with new ones added for all new character additions?
i just hope its not going to be a boring charm to put on your belt / hook....

Unless there is more clarification about this soon I think I'll bite the bullet and go prestige 3 every original survivor (and killer if possible). I'll try trade with my friend what I can like 1 third year party starter I could (hopefully) be traded back. Very risky though, only got one.
The thought of doing this after 7000 hours and with a progression update right around the corner is torture though
Edit: Soon I will start by prestiging the most recently released characters so I lose less rare items. As the deadline approaches and hopefully more details arise I'll decide whether to prestige my old survivors with the rarest (and most) stuff.

Hi @Peanits Could we get some clarification on this?
I stopped prestiging people around Felix release, but kept getting perks on them and have most of them maxed, if I stay where I am and get P3 via the compensation will I still get the P3 reward, or do I HAVE to be P3 at the time the change happens for this to be gifted?

I only have 7 out of 30 survivors prestige 3. But the rest are either P1 or 2.
Definitely gonna grind to try and get everyone to 3 before this comes out.
But I'm just wondering if I should focus on original survivors first or if I should try to get everyone. If it's a legacy 2.0 type of cosmetic then I assume the licensed characters won't be getting it but it doesn't specify.

Best bet is to prestige the original characters first and hope by the time you get to the licensed ones there is more clarification. Although holding off for a few more days just in case more info is quickly revealed is prob smart too.
I'm currently using all my best and rarest items/addons because of this news... before I prestige them :(
