Love for DBD was reignited!

I was so shocked at todays stream....literally announced everything I always wanted in this game. Last one being a perk search bar lol but saving your loadouts is close enough! I am very excited for the future of this game! :D

I am VERY happy with the stream, I had a lot of fun and love almost everything they announced. Especially that dating sim, this is truly the brightest timeline.

    My fingers are crossed though.

I really hope they don't fumble the ball now when they need to be on their A-game.

The latest chapter is looking pretty questionable in terms of stability and balance, the perk options range from meh to balance obliterating.

The developer team has announced they're going to basically take the workshop to 20 of the top survivor perks and 20 of the top killer perks and iron them flat, which is more horrifying to me than anything else.

I've always wanted Behavior to change their perks and breathe new life into the game, but focusing on the S and A tier to crunch them down to B tier shows that the 'Meta' has been a 6 year fluke. If the designers of the game wanted it to be fun, they'd change the unfun perks to be interesting and viable, but it looks like they'd rather spend their attention on their star performers.

Very questionable philosophy for both design mixed with a very questionable approach to implementation is what makes me wonder if I'm still going to be an active member of the community by this time next year.

BHVR delivered yesterday, this is a step in the right direction for DBD. I hope this brings lots of players back.

Me too. For once in over half a year I actually want to play again. Good job BHVR!

Maybe. For me, personally, I'll see by the end of the year if I come back to spend any meaningful gaming time in DbD. While the announcements sounded great, BHVR is going to have to deliver on them all, from the Bots to the perk overhauls and the core game changes that go along with that, before I make a decision.

The announcements, themselves, won't bring me back because until the changes are actually implemented, it's still the same DbD and the same issues that caused me to leave in the first place.

I can understand that. Hopefully when the new perk system goes live we start to see more variety cause DBD sure has been lacking that.

If they add Bubba and the Clown to the dating sim, it's gonna be a lot of competition for DBD itself.

My love for DbD has been reignited in a, lets say, slightly different way.
