Technical question, I have issues to start dbd suddenly (PC) Need help here pls
I was randomly afk today at some point, watching hentais etc
I often do that and leave dbd like that open and get back to it at some point. Now dbd was closed suddenly and I ofc havent realized that for idk how long maybe hours. I saw then that dbd was still shown as "running" on steam and I was on steam still "playing" it for my friends.
I was actually playing hearthstone and watched videos in the meantime, I had no laggs, issues whatsoever.
I tried to stop dbd then after discovery but it didnt stop it. Steam said "stopping" and I waited for like 5min and still nothing happened. Task manager and then stopped steam, now dbd was finally closed.
An hour later I wanted to get back to and start the game, dbd starts till the small dbd screen finished loading the EAC and then a error message pops up. Its a error message from EAC directly:
Dont ask me why its in german, my entire pc and windows is in english lel
Translation: Game cannot start, there was an issue while starting the game. Pls send us the report so we can help you.
After a start attempt like that again dbd is running and I cant stop it till I close steam completely through the task manager.
Would appreciate any help, tried to repair gamefiles empty steam download cache and changed download region. I guess last thing would be to uninstall and install again but I would like first to check if there is anything else I can do before I sit here and download the game over an hour.
