Quick Dead Hard announcement
The reason Killers want Dead Hard to be nerfed is mainly because it makes them frightened to try to attack Survivor. Especially at loop.
The closest to come to this level of stupidity was release Mettle of Man (obvious why), first versions of Decisive Strike (pick up a Survivor and they will always be able to escape) and lately, Boil Over (Cannot ever Hook me because I have this one Perk).
And I feel like a lot of you will agree.

Killers being frightened of a perk. Its gettin even more ridiculous.

And it's not like BT or DS where they are there for some specific reason.
For Survivor, close in comparison might be Dragon's Grip. Your first instinct is to touch Generator but the Perk makes you Exposed by trying to do objective which just feels bad.
Ofc, discounting strength but you get the idea.

Actually a lot of people on the forum complain much more about Dead Hard being too strong as a way to get distance in a chase versus being used to dodge attacks. That complaint has nothing to do with “baiting out a Dead Hard before you swing”, it’s about the scenarios where survivors get extra movement to reach vaults or pallets they wouldn’t normally get to.
Personally I think the issue with Dead Hard is it is too good effects that could each be their own decent perk in their own right combined into one mega perk. The distance alone is already good enough to be a perk without needing the invulnerability, and the invulnerability by itself would probably see use as a perk even without the extra distance. Combining the two is too strong.

I just had a game where the survivors did not have dead hard. They died.

Not the poor frightened killers. Woe is them.

Killer. You are commenting on a thread where one person shared their opinion.

You got it twisted. We’re mad you can cheese your way out of a hit. If you were actually good at looping, you wouldn’t get downed. Instead, you rely on a crutch perk. It wastes time and prolongs a chase so others can gen rush or heal. It’s pathetic. Literal training wheels. Loop better.

And I have a lot of games where survivors have dead hard, and they still die.

Agreed. Just saying they are easier prey than normal.

You're trying too hard to troll tbh, majority of killers LOL at DH, most of the time the survs barely use it to get anywhere and DH into a wall or right in the open and we bait it out so easy.
As others state above, majority of deadhard users cant loop or do anything to begin with and go down instantly because most killers bait out DH every hit

"I'm bad at the game so it must be fine."
It's seriously not a good mindset. Really. That's like saying Nurse is fine because most players are at bad her but doesn't mean she needs changes.

Killers like to blame dead hard for their bad plays. It became a trend

Ok, show me where Dead Hard to Pallet/window was always on Killer's mistake. Come on.
And if you say, "they could've lunged" Dead Hard stops you mid-swing if it's validated.
Guys, remember the reduced SFX/VFX thing with validated hits? Your attacks will still stop when Survivor uses Dead Hard and validates your attack, it's just less visible.

Tell me, show me footage of Survivor, using Dead Hard into Pallet or vault, that shows "Killer could've done something".
Remember, validated Dead Hard stops your attack during duration. It's not as visible as it used to be when they've first added Hit Validation to it but it's still there.

There's a reason i main this man xD
And there's a reason people hate Doc too, they don't like the DENY button if it's used against them, but they're completely fine when they use it

I don't like the current incarnation of DH because it has bugs that the devs have acknowledged where it's "eating" the killer's power which is not as intended.
Fix that and then we'll talk.

It's not cause im scared to hit a survivor who Has DH..
I'm more pissed the fact they run it to extend a goddamn chase +10 seconds to use at a pallet / window, or combine it on a infinity

There’s nothing a killer can do to stop a dead hard other than pre-emotive exhaustion perks and add ons.

Nothing quite as soul-wrenching as pulling off a chase winning mindgame as an M1 killer, only to have the survivor Dead Hard to a window or pallet the moment they realize they lost the mindgame.

Happened two years ago. Why you still bad?

What if they deny your denial?
*Dead hards your shock therapy and shock blast* and before you ask, yes it's possible 😈
