why do map offerings even exist?
i think it's very dumb that someone can have such an impact at the game by just burning a offering. The fact that a killer can send you to midwich and survivors to rpd is dumb. I never brun map offering and when a survivor does i play like an ######### cause they bring something overpowered. It's not fun

They wouldn’t be a problem if the maps themselves were balanced. But several aren’t.

Personally I don't think map offerings are a healthy thing for this game and I'm a little disappointed they haven't removed them yet

Because it would be boring getting the same 2 maps over and over again (Looking at you Coldwind Farm).

Because going to the same map multiple times in a row is boring and they don't have anything in place to look at the last realm the 5 players went to and send them to a realm they didn't just go to.
Only other time I burn a map offering is if I have a challenge like "fall from great height in chase" - I'm not risking getting sent to Shelter Woods.
Put great heights on all maps and make it so I'm not going to same realm over and over. Once those 2 things are done they can definitely remove map offerings.

I wasn't being sarcastic lol genuinely don't think map offerings are a good thing for the game. I think knowing the map before a match is a stupidly strong advantage that the other side doesn't have. If I knew I was going to Lerys then believe me I'm bringing Spine Chill and Windows lol

Depends on your RNG i'd assume. In my case, I almost never see Coldwind offerings unless I'm the one to burn them (go figure). Now Aazrov's and Ormond on the other hand I see a lot, which are probably more popular survivor offerings in my games, but I don't mind those maps on either side.

I strictly use map offerings to avoid going to the Swamp because I hate that map with a passion.

I though you were kidding because you said "maps" and not "map offerings" in your post, so I took it to mean you wanted all maps removed.
I agree I think the offerings should have been gone long ago. Or temporary ones when a new map is out, working for like two weeks or so.
