She certainly took a big hit, but I don’t think she’s bad now.

If you thought she was strong before, she still is. But realistically she was never actually that good to begin with. Yes, yes, I know, survivors walked into her and now they do not. That is about the only difference.

if you take addons into account, she may well be stronger.

She's quite balanced imho. But you need to be really good with sound cues. If you don't play her for a while, it's tough man

If BHVR nerfs Iron Will, she will be alright. Iron Will hurts her more than anything.

She is still top tier killer with decent power.

She won't seem it at first but she is still the 3rd best killer in the game.

Mother-daughter ring makes that nerf virtually mean nothing since you move that fast around loops.

She just another killer that’s weak without addons.

It's crazy how this killer was dropped by so many people after the rework. There is hardly any difference when facing her.

As a former spirit main not really. What made her good was her unpredictability. The reason why most Spirit players dropped her

    1. Survivors recieve too much information which defeats the purpose of her kit.

    2. Chase music is too loud, by the time you start moving in phase chase music starts dying down and by than it's already too late to track by sound.

    3. Iron Will pretty much turns her into Helen Keller with a sword.

She's not that great anymore, and her Grandpa is very very upset about it.

Spirit is still extremely strong. Good map traversal and chase. She can easily pressure the match. The main thing is that you have to actually try when playing her now, unlike before. Before survivors had no real way to tell you were phasing and basically wandered around blind, hoping you don't hit them.

Now they have a directional sound-que where you're at when close by in phase form. It's obvious when you're phasing so you can't fake it. She is very difficult because you are completely reliant on sound and environment changes. But the pay off is great. She is a beast of a killer. Starting out it's going to suck but when you do learn how to play her effectively you will basically be unstoppable.

I am by no means a Spirit main who knows her in and out. But some general advice I would give that's helpful for basically all killers is this:

*Predict survivor movements. This will let you catch them off guard, rob them of distance or stop them from getting to a pallet/window in time.

*Listen for all subtle sounds. Look for shadows. You can hear survivors pass through grass or their footsteps. Survivors will also make a little grunt noise when slow vaulting. Lockers can be heard squeaking open/closed.

*Proper pathing. This is good for both sides. The basics would be not taking wide corners or following directly behind a survivor. But it can get a little more in depth on which way to run loops as killer. Normally you want to force survivors into a position where they slow vault. A good example of this is the cow tree loop on coldwind. If you run it clockwise it's very difficult. But if you run it counter-clockwise it's not hard to deal with. Many loops in the game are like this. I'm sure youtube guides exist for it. And I'm also certain you will come to understand it more as you play.

Those 3 are just core, general advice to help with killer gameplay. They apply almost universally so use them to your advantage.

    She's still strong but

Only play as her with MDR+DCB

Cuz IW will make you want to DC tbh

Why is it so important for you to play a "strong" killer?

Just choose one were you like the power / design, and get good with them. Then you will be able to dominate most of your games.

She's still very good, she just feels a lot less cheap to play against now that you can actually hear her phasing mid-chase

She’s still very strong, you just can’t cheese your way to wins with the standstill bs

she is fine and still strong but you'll need decent addons usually speed/duration and you'll have to know how to deal with iron will at least till we see what changes are gonna happen to the perk.

She’s still very good. And when IW gets nerfed that’s going to be huge for her.

You should play a killer because you find them fun to play.
