Cool feng cosmetic!
So with the current Rift i found that the Shorefront ensemble cosmetic for feng is pretty cool! i wanted to see what others think about it also!
Also you can see feng's cheeks are Red cuz of sun burn, i first noticed that when someone was healing me and i looked at her face and saw that cool detail! what do you think guys about the cosmetic? I found it pretty nice ngl!

Feng Min has been getting a lot of outfits recently. There's such a thing as oversaturating the market.
Also notice how I never talked about Claudette, Meg, Nea, Dwight, etc. because I know they also have too many... You're putting words into my mouth that were never there to begin with babes, the topic here is Feng Min <3

Never understood the hate feng gets, because exactly!! Other characters still have more than her and she's always complained about the most out of all of them, also it isn't her fault she's been getting a lot of cosmetics recently, complain to bhvr 😭

There's such a thing as oversaturating the marketNot in terms of Feng Min cosmetics. It's all about supply and demand. As long as people buy these cosmetics, there is no oversaturation.
You're putting words into my mouthI didn't put any words in your mouth. Just wanted to remember that she doesn't have the most cosmetics. I've only noticed that more people get upset about new Feng skins than, for example, about Meg or Nea. I don't just mean that in relation to this discussion here.

Actually no, there is. Because consumers have different demands, if your product isn't incredibly niche you should attempt to target towards all of them. Rational consumer behaviour dictates that they will demand what they are willing to and able to consume, however consumers do not act rationally, and when they are ignored in favour of others they will begin to feel annoyed as their demands are not being met in favour of others.
So while from a firm's point of view, constantly adding more outfits for popular characters and ignoring the unpopular ones makes perfect sense for maximising short-run supernormal profits, in the long-run it may harm their business further as people will be far less willing to demand cosmetics for other characters knowing they will simply be ignored in future, harming revenue and thus profits.

I agree with these. I'm tired of Feng along with the other characters that already have a ton of cosmetic options constantly getting new stuff while other characters get ignored.

To be honest, I have no idea which economic strategy is the best. I also lack data and numbers on which characters are the most popular and whose cosmetics are the best-sellers.

From my amateur perspective, it makes sense to prioritize the most popular characters to maximize profits.
Nevertheless, I would also be happy about cosmetics from other characters like Jeff or Adam for example. As long as they look good, I don't really care about the character.

I've literally just done my microeconomics final (markets and business behaviour) which is a third of the full qualification, so I assume this constitutes as me having studied economics.
In the short term, assuming rational consumer behaviour, yes. For the long run this strategy could lead to fewer cosmetic purchases overall, however, as a large portion of the market are excluded, and irrational consumer behaviour happens basically constantly.
As BHVR currently hold monopoly power within the market (and, though I can only assume this, probably are a monopoly) then they can afford to do this currently because there are no viable alternatives and the market is incredibly far from being competitive. Though, for the long term goals (which I assume they're playing for by the Anniversary stream) appealing to every consumer is ideal to ensure maximal utility

She literally still has less skins than Meg and other characters in the roster. Sure shes up there in more cosmetics but plenty of survivors have more cosmetics than her.

Feng mains are grouped into the same category as Nea and Claudette mains.
They're generally either absolute babies or toxic monsters.
Mostly memes but most of my interactions with Feng players have been bad, so I'd like to see some of the less represented Survivors get cosmetics.
