No Mither Challenge in Page 3 of Tome??????
Escape the trial using ONLY No Mither and NO OTHER PERKS? Are you joking?? This challenge exists solely to make people endlessly throw games! This challenge needs to be removed. It's literally worse than going into a match perkless! Especially for solo queue, this challenge is so incredibly unfair to rest of the team, and because it's a tome challenge you run a huge risk of 2+ people in a single match running the perk over and over. This was a terribly designed challenge.

I wonder if they had it being a challenge of being in chase for a certain period of time with only no mither if it would have been better. I'm not looking forward to doing this challenge.

Many of the killer tomes ask you to run perks I would never run.... Predator tomes, Coup De Grace tomes etc,... effectively throwing the match.
Its only fair.

They ask you to run one perk but you're allowed to use 3 others and add ons. Also removing a health state and being unable to heal is much worse than Predator or Coup de Grace, which may not be strong but do not actively hinder you.
Bad comparison.

Running one Perk or maybe a Set of 3 is hugely different from just running the worst Survivor Perk-only.

No Mither is fun, it's a meme perk. I'm never mad when I see a teammate run it, and I'm ecstatic to see it as a killer. I get far more annoyed when I see a teammate with Technician than I do No Mither.

You cant compare No Mither to anything else, the equivalent in Killer mode is... there is no equivalent, Killers have useless perks but at least they are that, useless, No Mither is a hindrance to the team.

Your opinion is noted, however Predator does not provide something as powerful as being able to pick yourself up off ground like No Mither.
I see people run No Mither, I had a 4 man all No Mither this week. I was only saying both sides are asked to run trash perks for these tomes. You can disagree thats fine

Am I the only one that enjoys the challenges from the Tomes? Like, it is called a ‘challenge’ for a reason.
Or let’s start a petition to call them ‘slight inconveniences’ from now on so we can avoid anything remotely difficult.

This challenge should be changed to Finish a trial with X-Bloodpoints earned. It'd still be tough, but not nearly as impossible.

Yeah, this will totally happen that a Killer slugs you, when you have the big "DONT SLUG ME PLS"-Sign next to your Icon and a Challenge is in the Tome which makes it impossible to use any other Perks (like DS, Power Struggle or whatever).

I am in game attempting the challenge right now while you argue with yourself here... instead of bickering on the forum about a tome Im going to complete it and be able say "hey I did that tome!"
As I said, you can disagree, Im not trying to prove anyone wrong, just stating both sides get asked to run trash perks for tomes.
edit: the tomes exist for all players, not just survivors. I gotta do it too. You arguing about killers vs survivors, I play both bro ;)

As long as you do that in a 4SWF, do whatever you feel challenges you the most so that you can feel accomplished for getting out alive.
In solo queue (at my MMR) pretty much every match is ######### enough without someone running No Mither, particularly as their only perk. I will for sure not even try if I load into a solo match and see someone with No Mither.

Nobody is arguing us vs them except you, you were the first to came with the "yes but what about Killers having to run trash too!?", OP is complaining No Mither sucks and for Solo is going to be hell, even if someone doesnt care about the challenge that person still has to suffer someone with No Mither on the team which is a huge hindrance, he didnt say a single thing about Killers.

There is another one where you have to hide for 60 (SIXTY!) seconds within 10 (TEN!!!) meters of the killer in ONE trial. Did they hire the guy who did the very first tome challenges again?

I am doing the tomes today as surv and you dont even need to do the No Mither one, you can go around that node by 1: unlocking chests 2: hitting skill checks 3: fall from heights
I do all tomes both sides so not sure why you sticking on the killer stuff bro

I am the last person complaining about actual challenges. But IMO running ONLY No MIther is too much. Because when using No Mither, you need good Perks to compensate for the Downside of being broken and never being left on the ground.
But if a challenge exists which only allows No Mither to be used, the Killer will know that and does not have to respect any DS or DH or other Perks.

God, I hate those challenges so much. They're just begging you to sandbag your team and be useless for half the match. You have to hope you get a friendly killer or that someone loops the killer beneath your gen on a two story map without ever noticing you. ...And why the heck would they pick this challenge for David? It's not the first time we've seen this one, but it doesn't fit the man at all.

Actually thats one of the easiest challenges to do since facecamping is running rampant, you just need to play normally with Bond equiped until you run into a camper, then just go there and wait.
Thats how I get the "Stay hidden X seconds in one trial" challenges, it takes time but eventually youll get your camper.

Fun challenge if you play in a swf. Extremely detrimental if you play solo. I'd understand "be chased for x seconds" or "escape while running no mither (+ other perks)" but only no mither is a free ticket to a huge, free tunneling
If I see anyone doing it, I'll probably let them go

being that the tome is about the David this challenge was inevitable, they make you use every single one of Davids perks for challenges, that's how it's always been. just keep playing till you get it, who knows you could get it on your first try maybe

There's a difference between "design a challenge that requires you to use No Mither" and "design a challenge that requires you to escape with No Mither and no other perks."
It could just have easily been "pick yourself up from the dying state while using the perk No Mither" or "evade an attack while running the perk No Mither"

In previous tomes you had to run one specific perk and could use whatever else you wanted, or you needed to use the 3 teachables and the 4th one was free.
Definitely not comparable to what they chose to do in this tome.
And to add insult to injury, in the previous level you only needed to escape one chase while using a uber meta perk as Dead Hard. Here you need to escape while running an actually detrimental perk that puts a giant bullseye on your back.

Im not desagreeing both sides have challenges that require bad perks, Im disagreeing its not comparable because if you are Killer and equipo an awful perk you are throwing your match alone, if you are Survivor and equip No Mither with no perks you are throwing 3 other people match away.
The difference is if you do it for Killer only you get hurt, if you do it as Survivor 3 people who have no saying get their match thrown, pointless whataboutism as the one you brought only downplays the original complain plus is childish "you have it bad but whatabout this that also have it bad?" its an absurd argument.
