Brand New Part doesn't give any additional progress

I've been using many BNPs while prestiging a survivor, and I noticed that although the skillchecks appear regularly, I get no progress aside from the additional speed from the toolbox. I tried with various types of toolboxes and with and without addons and the problem was always there.

As far as I know, it should work for the first skill check.

This bug will make an anniversary of months inside the game without having been fixed.

Nope to me it didn't give progress at all, not the base 15, not the first nore the second skillcheck.
