Blight's add-ons need to be nerfed, not hug tech.
I swear to God, Blight has such amazing add-ons in this game it's kinda insane. Think of Alchemist's Ring or both his Iri add-ons.
Hug tech is needed for Blight to use his power in most loops in the game. Hens shows it how Blight depends on this tech to use his power well in many loops.
They Are Removing Blight's Best Trick | Dead by Daylight - YouTube
His base kit while powerfull requires skill to use and master.
BHVR please nerf these add-ons and leave base kit Blight as he is right now.

Well technically you're right: hug tech doesn't need to be nerfed. It needs to be FIXED, considering it's a bug

Yeah Hug tech needs to be removed not nerfed
8 -
Is it a bug? I watched a Twitch stream where the streamer was explaining that the developer who wrote the code for Blight, INTENDED it to work that way.

The addons -and- the hug tech need to be nerfed. The second strongest killer needs neither.
5 -
Addons are a thing that work as intended, hug wall "tech" and j flick aren't. Those are exploits and should be fixed asap
4 -
It is fair, once you learn how it works. But that is to hard, right? Any game mechanic that requires you to think to counter it is OP. lol
1 -
It is confirmed to be a Bug. It will be fixed. So why even argue?
6 -
J-flick is patched. I don't see why curving was unintended and a bug, but is now an accepted feature. Same with 360ing as survivor. So why not hug tech/hug bug/ bug hug/ whatever?
1 -
I just don't understand BHVR's thought process when it comes to making some bugs actual features, and removing others. "Thought process" is the incorrect term, I mean how does BHVR decide which bugs to keep and which bugs to remove?

Same as billy.

I dont know. If you want to know, ask them, not me.
They decided that this is a Bug and it will be fixed. And this should honestly be the end of all discussions about it.
2 -
Curving is not a bug, hug tech is and gives you an advantage.
0 -
I didn't say that. I said they were both good at LOOPS due to bugs in their power.
0 -
Yes, it is not unintended. But it is not unfair.
1 -
Yes, it is unintended*

It was a bug, now it is a feature. Billy wasn't initially intended to have high sensitivity when starting a sprint

Honestly, most things about blight need to be nerfed.
1 -
It definitely removes possible counterplay on the survivor side, because it allows Blight to get around corners and objects more effectively, hitting survivors in positions he couldn't normally do.
Blight is already very strong without that, having pretty good chase potential and incredibly good map pressure. It's not about a mechanic that requires survivors to think, it's about a mechanic that makes Blight even stronger than he already is at base without it.
2 -
Hug tech WILL be removed, so no use arguing about this.
Some of his addons do need to be toned down, though. Just not speed addons. Speed is life.

I might be against the tec if it has a counter does it have a counter?

The actual problem is there is a major double standard here. Blight has major collision issues with objects shorter than his waist, which has been a bug for over a year, and if BHVR really was interested in making Blight work as intended, they would be announcing to fix this issue as well. Blight sliding uncontrollably off of short objects is a bug that has affected Blight's performance at all levels of play.

Blight's still very good without hug tech, personally I don't use it all too often (if at all) and I still win a decent amount of my games.
0 -
its not intended, shouldnt exist makes blight more unpredictable unless u played enough against him to know what is happening, makes blight way harder to counter, and makes him totally dumb in shack for example he can go full round wich imo is just dumb.

well... Curving is actually bugged because the intensity of billys curve is linked to controller sensitivity for some weird reason.

I don't really understand why people hate Blight so much, Nurse though in the other hand is being labelled as balanced and fair, even though a lot of of well established and professional players says otherwise.
I say rework the Nurse. That thing is neither fun nor fair to play with, why even keep it that way.

For me neither of those 2 "tech" was accepted from the beginning... It's like the map "tech" (I won't explain how it works since it's another exploit that must be fixed) for the survivors
0 -
Hug tech was labelled as a bug so its not a nerf but a fix and to nerf blight addons we need to wait, if everything goes well, may 2025
1 -
The entire movement in chainsaw is linked to controller sensitivity.
But when it was bug in 2016? Like what are you on about. The feature suits billy Well. How does sliding suit a killer that is supposed to bounce off things. I am just glad that they are removing it. The only thing i would left is the “ scoot slide “ so you can decide while rushing if you wanna avoid collision, but not slide when starting( Which we all know is a bug)
1 -
the tech removes counters, you cant stop a blight from hug teching, and once they hug tech, you cant stop them from going around the corner they wouldnt have otherwise if the exploit was patched out. There is no agency for the survivors, the killer uses the exploit when its to their advantage, and doesnt when it doesnt.

he's only second strongest BECAUSE of it. Without it hes an M1 killer at most loops
