Blight's back-bumping issue should be addressed before his techs / exploits are fixed.
Coming from someone who has poured well over 300 hours into playing Blight, and has participated in many 1v1s against him, I can say that Blight's issue regarding back-bumping should be addressed first.
In case you don't know; back-bumping refers to when you try to start a rush, but instead instantly bump on something to your side or behind you, hence the name. It seems to be almost random and can completely ruin the flow of chases.
If the general community and developers want Blight to become a bump logic machine, that is fine with me. However Blights should have the tools to bump logic, and not be limited by bugs that randomly occur.
TL;DR: If hug tech is removed before back-bumping is fixed, it is doing a dis-service to many Blight players and may become a similar situation as what happened to Twins a few months back.

I'd still like to know how back bumping is still a thing when his look at vector got put in front of his face instead of being in his face.

One thing i hate about Blight is that you don't know for sure if you will bounce when you hit an object or not. For example: in the swamp maps, all trees are made of oil. You try to bounce on them but you fail because of bad hitboxes. They should also focus on that too.
I agree with this too. Sometimes I waste 3 of my charges because I bounce on something that is behind me and not in my angle.

Likely because he still has 2 hitboxes. The raycast in his face, and a traditional one in his torso.

Also unable to bump some structures in certain maps as Blight should be fixed.
Especially Ormond and Backwater maps.
One of reasons why hug tech came out and became famous.
