Truly gross, disgusting, and heartbreaking.
So today I was reading through the lore of Trickster, and I found out something absolutely despicable.
Trickster kills people! This is something I NEVER expected to learn about a Dead by Daylight Killer! I though they just sacrificed men, women, and children's souls to the entity. But actual murder is abhorrent and ridiculous!

"How do we make the worst survivor yet?"

Is his lord that bad? I always thought he was trash but damn

"How do we make a character with a highly unbelievable and cartoon-y ability along with a story filled with confusing moments that make no sense, and also somehow manages to mock the real life tragedy that it was trying to shed a light on?"
He literally bombs civilians and doesn't care. Not to mention he spits in the face of what The Artist was supposed to represent.
If you want to learn more about why Jonah sucks, I recommend you watch this video made by @PixelBush.

I really thought demo would have the worst lore😂😂

Jonah is morally worse then most of the killers. I really hope they redo the whole thing.

Almost as disgusting as Blight’s rituals not being called “rite of the Blight”

The guy in the video glosses over some important aspects of Jonah's lore to support his whole horrible evil irredeemable CIA war criminal reading. The way he words it, you'd think Jonah dropped the bombs himself with a big grin on his face and then sent taunting letters to the grieving families. The rebels in his story are not good guys, they used civilians as meat shields by deliberately including civilian whereabouts as decoys. The CIA had no way of knowing that this would occur, and it is ultimately due to the rebels that those civilians lost their lives in the first place. Jonah is just a small part of why it happened. The person who dropped the bombs is just as, if not more responsible than he is, as he just decided the messages. Pretending he's worse than the killer cast is just ridiculous.
And a good portion of Jonah's lore is based around him struggling to deal with being somewhat responsible for the deaths of those civilians. Just because he doesn't have an artist level "oh boo hoo my entire life is defined by meaningless tragedy" three paragraphs of mopey introspection in his lore doesn't mean he's not deeply wracked by it - it's mentioned a lot in his lore and flavour text. He's not going to embezzle money from the CIA because it is the rebels who put civilians in the line of fire. And sure, the CIA struck the decoys, but they are involved in a war and of course you are going to try to kill people in a war, that's a major part of it. Every soldier in history is a terrible terrible person by that logic, which is ridiculous.
The whole Pinochet reading works fine with artist, I don't think it works here, and I don't think it's even intended in the first place as it's never mentioned outright, alluded to, or even given a substitute Pinochet character to avoid the being of controversy. Jonah's lore isn't fantastic, but it's extremely overhated and I feel people just like to dogpile on it without really reading or thinking about it because "he CIA bad man ugly I don't like him".

Yep this completely
his story while not the best is completely overhated. Jonah didn't drop the bombs himself and the rebels wasn't the good guys.

######### thank you.
It honestly annoys me to no end when people don't read the lore themselves and instead just watches someone else's take on the lore to just blindly repeat what they've been told as if it's their own opinion.
That's why The Archivists Vault is the Superior dbd lore channel on youtube.
