Let the player decide: Fast matchmaking x Very fair matchmaking

I want to spend 20 minutes on queue playing another game for a great match.

My neighbor wants 2 minutes queue.

Let us decide! Give us a slide in option in game! Let us adjust the intensity, the strictness.

It's better for the game's health if I play 2 very fair matchers per hour than none - none because at this stage I don't want to.

    20 minute queues is miserably, just sayin’. There was a bug a year or two ago that made survivor queues this long, and lemme tell you, it is really not as great as you’re describing here.

    Generally speaking, queue times should at very least not be longer than an actual match’s length. Balanced matches is important, but the ability to play at all is way more important.

    I consider 2min a long time to wait lol

    If the wait time would be even remotely close to 20min I wouldnt play this game ever again

    I think replies so far have missed the point you were making.

    In that you value game quality over wait time and if you had the option to wait longer for quality matches you'd take it.

    I think its a pretty good idea, set your preference for match wait time by custom setting the range of MMR you'd like it to draw from.

    How functionally well it could be implemented is another story. The custom nature of it likely requires a huge player base to draw from to make it work and not result stupidly long wait times.

    Honestly, if the wait time is particularly long, I just do some dishes and vacuum or fold clothes. It gives me a minute to catch up. XD

    Quickly = queue time

    Ranked = match quality

    Give us a choice

    This would just end up with almost all the high MMR players sliding their selection to “first available opponent” so they don’t have to “go against sweaty players”, and lower end players turning it all the way up to “I don’t want to play against high level opponents”.
