Ruin regressing blocked off gens

Recently I have noticed ruin is regressing blocked off gens, we have tested it in a private match as well and gens are losing progress while blocked by the entity, we have tested it with dead man's switch and repressed alliance. It is not just a visual bug, gens are losing progress.
