The killer: The Teacher

The Teacher is a psychotic torturer who can summon their students to lower the guard of the survivors, pounce on survivors or jump them from roofs or walls, rewarding an adaptive playstyle with tools for all situations. Her three personal perks, Detention, Role Model, and Hex: Lesson Learned, do something idk.

Power: The New Inhumane

The Teacher can put crying children anywhere on the map. Survivors who are within 8 meters of a crying child are unable to leave the radius, unless they are in a chase. The survivor has to cheer up the child in order to repel the effects.

The Teacher can command a child to scream at a survivor if they are in the middle of being cheered up, causing them to freeze in place for 3 seconds. The Teacher can teleport to the child. This takes 3 seconds and immediately unfreezes the survivor.

The Teacher can also send children to run toward survivors, jumping on them and slowing them by 15% until they're cheered up.

The Teacher can throw children at walls or roofs, the child will cling to them and will pounce to a specified point when commanded.

Perks:

Detention:

If a survivor is in the basement when a survivor is hooked, the basement exit will be blocked by the entity for 20 seconds.

Role Model:

You set low standards, so you can exceed them.

Prevents the loss of your add-ons as long as you have hooked 2 or more survivors in the trial.

If you start the trial with a very rare or ultra rare add-on, gain the effect of a random rare add-on. This add-on will be displayed on the bottom-right.

Add-ons are 10/15/20% more effective.

Hex: Lesson Learned:

When a survivor blesses a totem, that survivor suffers from the exposed status effect for 20 seconds.

Every time this perk activates, Hex: Lesson Learned recieves a token. Each token extends the exposed duration by 5 seconds.

When this totem is cleansed, automatically consume all tokens to inflict survivors with the exposed status effect for 10 seconds, plus an additional 10 seconds for every accumulated token.

I'm gonna do lore for the survivor only. Maybe I'll do lore for killer later.

Speaking of which, here the survivor, Jykez Forrest (yeah I recycled one of my old concepts for this)

The Survivor: Jykez Forrest

Jykez Forrest is a Observant Scout. He can remember things like nobody else can, and what is locked away from the average eye is all but clear to him. His three personal perks, Sight for Success, Aufruden, and Follow the Scent, allow him to track important objectives, and remember the killer's location.

Perks

Sight for success:

You can see the distance between progress and conclusion.

After completing a generator, Sight for Success activates.

While active, The generator with the most repair progress will be highlighted in yellow.

When repairing a damaged generator, a tremendously difficult skill check will appear. Succeeding this skill check will immediately grant 10/15/20% repair progress. Failing the skillcheck will cause a 10% regression penatly.

Aufruden:

The projects taught you a thing or two about how to rally. Press the Secondary Action button to place a marker. This marker is visible to all survivors within a 90/105/120 meter radius. The marker will be yellow by default. It will turn red when the killer is within 12 meters. (Note: this would also come with a glass bead buff)

Follow the Scent:

Your eyes are truly open, more open than anybody else. The killer will leave behind blue scratch marks that you can see. The killer's aura will be revealed for 1/2/3 seconds after they leave your sightline.

# lore time

Most people have their paths to follow. Some lead to god, some lead to gold, some lead to glory. Others lead to heartbreak, pain, and poverty. There was no in-between. That is, until Jykez came along. Jykez lived an average life. The first average life in a really long time. That's how he viewed it.

Jykez was born into a poor family. Their family has been poor since the first couple. A single, freshly waxed closet was their family heirloom. Among all the dust and grime among the Forrest's Home was a single beacon of perfection.

Jykez never liked taking long looks at things. He just did not see as much in these intricate little details as the rest. Little did he know, he saw much more of these little details as the rest. He was gifted, yet assumed this was everyone else's view of the world.

No matter the circumstances, he was always content.

Then one day, he had stumbled onto an abandoned greenhouse. That's where the entity had her foothold into his world. Jykez suddenly woke up, as if that experience was just a dream. Then he opened his eyes more, and there sat the campfire. He was taken by the fog.

But this wasnt the end of his story. For most others, it would've been time for them to embrace the trials. Jykez took a very different path. He had looked at everything he could see, he had a memory of where everything was, all from one sight. That's where he realized his gift. He could see beyond the others, and he had just begun to embrace it.

He had found an unfinished journal on the ground, and began recording his observations.

It had grown more and more on him as he studied the seemingly conscious vegetation of the realm. The living bark, the dark golden pistils of the entity's blight, the campfire's illogical properties, and the inhabitants of this realm, unsure whether they are vessels of the entity's likeness, or beings with their own consciousness.

Then one day, the last page had been written. He laid the book on the ground for a new inhabitant to find and be inspired from. His observations had not yet been done, for there was one more thing to study: the barrier of the trial grounds. He had wondered...

"Why do i have to stop at the wall?" "What's over the wall, what's beyond these grounds?"

He knew what he was going to do next. He climbed over the wall. Just as he was about to grip the top of the wall, a set of dark, foggy spikes manifested atop. He was not discouraged, he kept climbing, and climbing, all the way up the entity's claws, until he had reached the true limit, an area where even the entity could not reach. Brave, he leaped over, falling all the way down from which he climbed, on the other side.

He had escaped the trials.

He woke up again, as if his previous experience was a dream. Budding with wonder, Jykez would begin to explore the sub-realms outside of the entity's grasp. He had seen the spirit world, the tower, the laboratory, and that's where he met vigo.

Jykez was quick to notice vigo's extensive research on the realms. Vigo wished to escape the entity's realms, but simply, he could not return to the trials. Jykez was quick to offer, he would serve as a scout for vigo, recording his observations of the trial grounds.

Unfortunately, there was one more thing in the way of his studies. The ruthless killers, roaming the realms and disturbing his work.

Despite this, he worked hard to earn vigo's trust. Once he did, vigo was confident enough to share with Jykez the metaphysical relationship between our thoughts and the world we live in. Jykez understood this, and was able to bend the fog to his will.

He used this power for many things. He uses it to prevent the loss of his memory, and to escape the trials. Outside of the trials, he was feared by the entity's servants. They simply could not touch him, and would no longer be in the way of Jykez study.

Checking through the woods, awaiting a solution, he sensed a message. These exact words were said, by a mysterious voice, one of another antagonist to the entity. One of somebody who could find the way out.

"There are things of the abyss better left unexplored and undiscovered..."

He was compelled to move toward a specific structure.

"Arcane knowledge and forgotten truths that have pushed the most resilient of minds into a fathomless pit of madness..."

As he proceeded, a great truth became clearer and clearer.

"Of the Entity, i know little."

He knew he was getting warmer.

"What i have concluded is this living dimension seems to slither through the cosmos like a primordial, titan serpent..."

As he continued to move, he approached a grand door.

"Consuming people and worlds for reasons i dare not try to understand..."

As he opened the door, he entered a feast for the eyes. A wall of bookshelves, moving up and down, a mysterious man sitting, with a drink, and a mysterious device.

"Let alone explain."

He had arrived in the archives.

As he processes everything, a surprised observer welcomes him. Jykez immediately asks...

"What is this place? What is that device? What is-"

The observer interrupted him.

"I know you have questions, as many might have. This is the archives, a collection of memories taken from the poor victims of the entity's influence. This device is the Auris, a device capable of probing the black fog for the memories of its inhabitants'

Jykez, once again, was quick to ask for the auris. He could use it to find a way out of the realms, and save everyone. Humbled, the observer was willing to meet him halfway. Jykez was given a fragment of the auris, so that he too could fish memories from the entity's victims"

He had everything he needed, and he had his work cut out for him.

Now it's time to get to work.
