If you could place the dredge in a tier list, where would it be?
This is just more of a first thoughts poll, since it’s only been out for a day, most of your opinions will probably change but currently, what tier does it belong in?

He seems pretty good to me. I'd put him in either B or A tier.

He has good map control, antiloop, and a third passive power. A tier, easily.

I think in the end he’ll be A tier because of his great map mobility and a decent anti-loop tactic.

Top of B tier, under Demogorgon, who is at the bottom of the A tier

I think there is a lot of potential with Dredge tbh.

Great Killer! Map pressure and anti-loop in spades without feeling sluggish and gimped.
Only complaint is addons are a tad boring, but its well designed base kit more than makes up for it.

The lock priority when he TPs and his anti-loop being beat by just holding W basically means he's just an M1 killer with limited teleporting. Not great.

High A, low S.
I think of him like a nurse. Everyone sucks at him now, but once we'll get someone to master him, we'll be on the floor sobbing.
We can't judge him hard now, but i do think that when mastered, He's gonna be an absolute menace

Solid anti-loop, map-wide teleport, built-in Oblivious and anti-information mode.
Very strong all around utility and the option to end chases or place survivors into lose-lose situations.
Also has the passive benefit of shaving several seconds off of survivor game time by encouraging them to run around the map shutting lockers, which doesn't seem like much - but a survivor shutting 2 locker doors before repairing the shack generator can buy you 5 seconds, if this is done for each generator, that's 25 extra seconds before generators are worked on - which is almost the same value as Thanatophobia.
Not broken enough to be S tier, IMO, but a lot of anti-loop, mobility, and passive slowdown. Just a generally solid all-around killer.

Basekit is extremely high B. Even the slightest help from addons bumps him to A imo.

Hella good, hella fun, can still be bullied by good survivors. A tier.

he's very map dependend because a lot of maps dont have good locker distribution and it's very annoying to play when all lockers are totally out of reach of gens. he's very weak against competent survivors. a good noob stumper but that are most killers imo. low B tier at best in Mid-High mmr

Very middling once you get used to them. A lot of maps have terrible locker distribution and survivors get a loud warning when they're in a locker combined with locks they can usually get a good 4-5 second headstart on Dredge.
Dredge is fairly bad in chase since holding the remnant slows them down so much you basically give up free distance for them to go to the next loop and in reality in chase Dredge is mostly a M1 killer.
Nightfall is fine. It's not the game changer people think it is once people learn how loud Dredge is in Nightfall and it's basically a filter that doesn't change a whole lot.
That being said a lot of this is mitigated by the fact the Dredge is probably the best user of perks that give exposed in the game and has the 1st or 2nd best mobility in the game. They also have a great group of add-ons so things generally balance out.

Overall good killer with a good power and good aesthetic. A tier.

He seems like an A tier.

Very high B imo, with certain addons he could probably go up to A

Solid A tier choice but unfortunately that shifts depending on the map as locker placements ultimately affect how good his map mobility is. Some maps favor Dredge, some are neutral, and unfortunately some are against Dredge.
Still he has his anti-loop and Nightfall which are guaranteed abilities, Nightfall being something the survivors cannot stop or slowdown unlike Sadako's tapes or Pinheads box.
I think he's one of the more balanced killers in the game, able to be a threatening force at all times and not crippled by his own power yet can still be countered in interesting ways
