Does wiggle progress no longer decrease when dropped?

I remember it regressing when not being carried. When did the devs take that away?

Yeah, because the new mechanic was abused in lieu with Boil Over on certain maps; RPD was infamous as you had a legit infinite in the library, but other maps got it too, like Red Forest.

So they changed it that Boil Over now gives you a percentage of the missing portion of your wriggle bar, but just like the fable of the hair and the turtoise, the hare will never reach the finish line, and same with boil over. It will give you a good chunk, but boil over alone wont let you wriggle free all the time.

They dropped that Killer nerf into Hot fix 5.5.1: Wiggle progress will no longer regress when not actively wiggling, with both the new and old wiggle interactions.

Wiggle never regresses, once you drop a Survivor slugging is your only option.

WHY!!!! It makes 0 sense to take that way from killers. All survivors do is body block and force drops and they take the killers only defense away? Geez!!

Yeah it got removed a little while ago. It’s a stupid change because it can lead to situations where picking up your teammate is the wrong play (because the killer can’t hook them if you leave them there) as long as they’re not in danger of bleeding out any time soon. It should be reverted.

They took it out because... i have no idea why. Killers are not allowed to have counterplay?

It was too slow to make a difference anyways. The survivor would bleedout before making any difference
