why do i get queued with people above my skill level this game sucks

I hate going on hot streaks where I win a bunch of games in a row. I don't want to let everyone survive because it's more fun to 4k, but I also know that I'm going to have to either start letting everybody go, or there will be very unfun games against survivors way better than me coming soon.
