Devs missed a very important detail about the dredge or they had an idea I can't think of
So you know that you cannot teleport to the lockers near a hooked survivor. However, you are still able to enter it and, furthermore, you can even leave this locker. What I'm trying to say here is that this makes dredge a next-gen camper. In my opinion, this should be removed.
What are your thoughts about it?

So what your saying is I can’t teleport to a hooked survivor but I can go inside of it to camp? That’s possible I didn’t know?

shhh now survs are gonna say its "every game"
when reality is hardly anyone does it
reason is beause you already there, going in a locker wont change that you were there and you still there

You can't camp in lockers. After 8 sec the locker itself will expose you for anyone near by.

A weird smoke comes out of a locker if dredge stays in for longer than 8 seconds to warn survivors so it's worse at camping than a wraith standing still

To be fair, I don't see a big difference between him going in a locker next to a hooked survivor, and him just standing in front of the survivor. He makes noises out of lockers after being in one for 8 seconds.
I guess it could be a bit like a semi-insidious camp though.

Which is why they are meta perks. More forced perks just to counter an incredibly unfun strategy.
I really hope they nerf tunneling and camping enough with the upcoming perk update, so that these perks aren't as mandatory anymore.

Well, that means nothing, you can just go your way at pressuring survivors and kicking gens, and as soon as they unhook the lockers are unblocked,
or just teleport to a locker that is near the hook but not too close, that also does the job.....

why is it a problem?
lockers are blocked to prevent dredge TPing to them across the entire map which, in most scenarios, allows him to either cut off survivors saving hooked one or efficiently trade.
Right now dredge has to wait until survivor is unhooked which gives them enough time to build distance.
Entering the locker to do bad version of insidious bubba is not even an issue, as people described above. It is allowed purely to make TP`ing out easier.

You can grab them off of hook

My thoughts are that you haven't watched a Dredge do this or done it yourself, because as has been mentioned multiple times after 8 seconds he generates that obvious smoke that essentially says "HEY SURVIVORS, HE'S HIDING IN HERE!"
