Playing against hag isn’t very fun.
Before reading this, a quick disclaimer: I mean no offense towards any hag mains. They can play the game how they want. This is just some things that bother me about her design.
- Often, I see people using her entire play style to camp. They find a 3gen, place traps around, and guard it like hell. This just makes a boring stalemate.
- Even if they don’t do the 3geb strat, they often will spam traps around hooked survivors and patrol the area around them
I almost always see these two strategies done every time I go against a hag.

that's not hag you've got an issue with, that's certain players.

The players that are using the hags power in that way, which, as I said, is quite a lot of. People that don’t play this way do have my respect.

I mean, playing her isn't fun either

Thats Debatable

Playing AS hag isn't very fun especially when you play a SWF.

Hag isn't fun, was never fun and will never be fun.
Unfortunate.

Based on the amount of people who play hag (or lack thereof) she is statistically unfun

Oh boy is it not.

It's kind of hard to play Hag without trapping hooks, particularly on outdoor maps. She has trouble chasing people when she's not teleporting, and hooks are one of the few places survivors are guaranteed to go.

That's...not camping.
A camping Hag is the latter one.
I play neither way - I do a roaming Hag, and do pretty damn well. Although I'm not above getting cheesy if the game is going south.
Trap the hell out of the central structure, and any chokepoints. Cut the map in half, then chase people into it.

Many people agree with you hag is possibly the most dull killer to play against hags won't chase you and if you get downed you'll probably just get one hooked from all the traps they place around you

The ability to place traps under hooks is one of Hug's greatest strengths, so it makes no sense for it to be Hug not to use them...
Trappers are the same, but the nature of traps means that the strongest way to fight is to fight by setting up a territory.
And since the game system is such that the way to victory is to bring the generators together, this is a typical example of how the most powerful way to fight is the most hated...
A simple countermeasure for Hag is to activate the trap at the last possible distance and turn back in the direction without the trap.
If you have self-care and CoH, this is the only way to drop Hag to a helpless 4.4 m/s M1 killer...

trapper and hag are territory killers which means they do best by....camping.

i don't think i've ever survived against a hag on RPD. nor do i really care to either haha

I'd rather face a camping Hag than a Knockout Hag. You can actually do something against a camping Hag (just crouch over to unhook), then bodyblock the swipe if she teleports in.
I'd also rather face a camping Hag than a camping Bubba, Ghostface, Trickster or Myers.
That all said - you've never played against my Hag :). I don't camp, but you won't find a structure without a trap in it.
Hag...sort of. She can camp decently, but this either requires the survivors to be playing badly (a single BT negates it, if you crouch) or you to commit to a psychotic degree, and there are way better killers if you want to do that.
Trapper - no. Not unless you can get them into basement. A smart Trapper is more about putting traps preemptively where people will run when you chase, as he's 4.6. Hag can camp, but you can also play her as more of a roamer, and trap all the structures, loops and chokes you can, then chase people and watch chaos ensue.
I play a roaming Hag with a lot of success. She's been my main since I started, although likely replaced by Dredge soon.
