Would any one like to see a Replay system, Match History, and Team Blood-points.
Hello everyone,
I have spent time brainstorming on a few ideas that could improve the Dead by Daylight experience post-trial overall. The points below are a few things the Dev team should consider...
- Replay system. (Ability to go back and rewatch matches)
- Match History (Ability to track how many times you escaped, died, and your score)
- Blood-point break down for Team (Ability to see Team survivors score in all 4 categories at end of trial)
These three improvements are just a suggestion and I think most of the community would appreciate the quality of life improvements after the trial is over.
Kind regards,
Laurie Strode ;)

I think all 3 of those would be great. 1 would be best, but they've already said that a replay system would require rewriting the entire game from the ground up and that would be too much work and kill the game in the process of them doing it (as there would be no new content during that time).

I want Replay system implemented.

It’s unfortunate but the devs have shot down a replay system for technical reasons, even though it’s something they clearly would like to include at this point. Not just for people to enjoy watching their matches but also because a replay system would allow them to automatically attach replay files to support tickets rather than require the players to manually record their games using third party software and attach the ticket on the web.

I just want playtime on each killer, how many matches on killers etc,...
People brag about their hours in the game, but its mostly lobby time, I wanna know if I spent 500 hours on Bubba playing not sitting in a lobby. Trying put 500 hours into Bubba, right now Im counting the matches, and using 10 minute match as average so need like 3000 matches

Your devotion level can technically say how much you played the game. Higher the devotion, higher the experience

For customer service ticket purposes it would obviously be way better if the ingame ticket application just put the associated replay file in automatically. That prevent all kinds of problems with user errors attaching bad files or not attaching files or not attaching files to the right tickets, etc. Basically it takes the onus off the players, who are mostly just ordinary people who aren’t necessarily tech savvy enough to know how to set up games to record, and just makes it so you put in the ticket and you’re done.

I want per killer stats and I think had over 1k hour before devotion even came to the game, I am devotion 11 about to be 12 I think and at 3k hours now

I would also like the same post-game as Evil Dead: the game, where you can see the number of rescue, time on objective, time chased of everyone, i'm always curious how other player that i didn't really see did during the game, were they useless? Were they the hidden gen jockey that secretly carried us? Did one get chased for 3 gens?

Replay system would prevent a lot of cheaters from not getting caught.

That is true you can save video clips through the consoles, but even games like Overwatch have their own replay system which allows you to see multiple perspectives whereas on the console you only see your own perspective

I honestly misunderstood at first what you meant by Team Blood-points.
My thought was Survivor Bloodpoints being more team based than individual.
Initial thought that came to by mind is all Survivors' total Bloodpoints are averaged after the trial ends. If you score above the average, nothing happens. If you scored below, you get the difference.
So one survivor has a perfect game while one, for the sake of easy numbers, gets zero. The average would be ~16,000. Survivors who scored below that get 16k minus whatever they actually scored. Survivors who scored above 16k don't get anything extra (or maybe extra experience or something to reward above average play)

Yeah, if it was just a way to watch your replays for fun I wouldn't really care either way personally.

Sometime ago in one of their q&a streams, they did actually stated that the `Replay System` would be tremendously difficult to implement, and would iirc, take an extremely long time to do so.

1. Sadly the Devs already said that this would need them to rewrite the whole game from scratch and they won't do it. (I still don't understand why, because games like PUBG implemented it afterwards too and it worked. Maybe it's an engine thing or spaghetto code.... )
2. Since they have the data anyway I would love to see this. Also add random stuff like totems cleansed, chests searched, playtime etc. So that every player has a dbd profile in game that you can visit (right now this is steam only as far as I know).
3. This would tone down the "you only have 12k, you did nothing" salt (but certainly create another one). I heard complaints because I only had about 10k, but looped the killer for ages.
