Well that was the event for me

I normaly keep my anger with me but now i have to vent a little.


i havent played dbd in a month because i had a bunch of other games to play and dbd got a bit to much frustrating. so since the event started i wanted to have fun get some rewards and have a good time.... well the game wasnt a fan of that idea.

first round i bring cake and am mega happy because i spawn next to an invatation so i dont need to search. but i wasnt happy for quite that long because i dont know what crazy stuff the matchmaking smoked today but there was no way in hell i could even act like i had a chance against these guys. and to top of the fact that i fairly quick knew i woulndt get a single kill this round this guys just had the time of there lifes not even doing the last gen for a good while because they could just toy with me because i took so long to down them and when i got a down one guy was ready to flash safe and if that didnt work the nearest hooks got sabot.

well that was a awefull game and it was my first and last for today and since none of my killers get a mask probably my last for the event.

i know some of you will come here and say git gud and what not but sometimes dbd just gets really frustrating and im kinda sad because i love the game if i can get fair matchups but stuff like that just sucks.


btw had any one of you ever the problem that a surv hinders your hook atempt by blocking the hook with his body but the stupid hook blocks my attack when i want to smack him?

    For all the people willing to relax for the event, there's always people more than happy to kick it up now that they have something they can deny you.

    Before the Event Everything was fine i had alot Fun since the Event i didnt get ans Good round only toxic Survivors who teabagging, clicky clicky and run nothing than Dead Hard and Finishing Gens in 20 seconds .... before the Event i only had like 1 Dead Hard in most Games Now i hv always 3 or 4 because the Survivors rather want to be sweaty than having Fun

    Yes, same here.

    I had a long break from DBD, came back to try out the event. I wanted to play chill, so that all players have a chance to win a mask.

    First match immediately a gen rushing squad, with flashlights all over the place.

    Afterwards in the chat they laughed about me and said how ######### person I am.

    Second match, same, again purely hardcore sweaty swf.

    And that's it for me. I have absolutely no interest in playing even one more match, ######### the event and ######### the masks.

    I've been playing for maybe 30 minutes today and I'm already feeling extremely stressed again. I have never felt so much stress in all the time without DBD. I'm now leaving DBD again and continuing to play other games without toxic hardcore sweaty swf teams insulting you and laughing at you even though you tried to get the best out of the event for all players.

    I'm too old for this teen bully squad bullshit

    The event always calms down as it goes on. People act like fools and usually survivors won't even start playing until they've found the crown or scroll this year. It's also always easier for killers to get the cosmetics - so maybe focus on that?

    Yeah I agree. I know what I, as killer, will be doing.

    I'll just play normally, and just not death hook anyone. That way survivors can enjoy the thrill of a tense game and will only realize what I'm doing later during the trial.

    Hopefully survivors will be gracious enough to let me get decent hooks if they happen to be too skilled for me to do this in 5 gens time.

    This. Matchmaking is more borked than my dog when the steals my other dog's food.

    40-50k new players, many of whom are long returning veterans are going to mess things up for a while.

    Sometimes it’s all about when you play and who. At night my killer games are slightly chiller. And daytime my killer games require more sweat because the queue is longer so mmr is somewhat thrown out the window. Opposite is said for my survivor games.
