The Toxic Killers in these events are probably Survivor Mains.
Just saw my local DBD Discord Group and saw my Survivor Main friends go Killer for the BPs (Cakes/Flans). It was not a pretty sight seeing Killers Camping, Tunneling and bringing the most powerful Builds/Add Ons. The reason is that Gens fly too fast, they don't know how to loop as Killer and they don't know how to properly cope with the stress.
Me and my Killer Main Friends are business as usual, Aim for a 12 hook win matches but with a Noticeable longer queue time.

Yeah, because Killer Mains can never be toxic. Must all be Survivor Mains, because those are evil beings.

Aven they do have a point though...during events I noticed more very toxic Killers more so than normal. I wouldn't be surprised if a few survivor mains would go Killer just to be toxic.

It's funny because it's true.

I can't even get a killer game so yes, yes they are.

I remember this wannabe comp player earlier got mad at me for playing twins and slugging when their entire team gave me an opportunity to do so. Got the point where they were calling me and their teammates ######### and when I bring up the point of "says the dh user" they come back with... "dh is a ######### perk" despite running it. Like if its such a ######### perk then why were they running it.... hmmmm. Funny enough their teammates not running full meta did better than them in chase.
Like despite what they say I lost several games before because dh for distance is simply too powerful for more than half the killer roster.

Tell that to any poor soul who leaves their steam comment page open and dares to play killer.
3 -
Fellas, are toxic killers actually survivors?
6 -
Hey! I wear these salty comments with pride. It's 100% Proof of beating a salty player
1 -
Well you shouldn't be matched with them if they barely play killer. At least not consistently.
3 -
My point is me and Killer Main Friends are noticing a significant longer queue time. Then Threads here and there are saying that Toxic Killer are much more apparent and wide spread during these events.
If Killer Mains are having a longer queue time and People are encountering more Toxic Killers, What can we conclude from that?
1 -
That no one wants to play survivor because of how toxic all of the killers are being?
5 -
Yes, that's another reason. So Normal Survivor Mains are now trying to go Killer because of the Killer toxicity and the BP Cakes/Flans.
1 -
I love us vs them. It’s totally not repetitive and unhealthy for this game.
11 -
The cycle of revenge means we face each other in both roles. Mastering all aspects of DBD demands this.

So why are you automatically assuming it’s the survivor mains who are the toxic ones? Is it because they want to make the game hard for others after a tilting match? If so, do you do the same?
1 -
Not trying to fan the flames of war honestly. It's just that Killer Mains are noticing a longer queue time than yesterday, that means there are more people that are queuing to Killer right? People are complaining that Killer Toxicity is more apparent than normal in these event.
If more people are queuing in Killer in these event than ever and People are complaining Killer toxicity is at an all time high, what can we say about this?

How is it evil to fall for the same traps every new killer falls for when they start playing. Tunneling camping killers are not the problem its the games mechanics encouraging it and the lack of baseline help for new killers.
There a million and one ways to encourage anti camp playstyles outside of making a new perk on a new killer which a new killer player dosent own. They should have implememted baseline gen regression or a mini mori to encourage hunting fresh prey. But nah every survivors got 3 lives and the game starts regularly with survivors being scattered to the four winds each on a gen. Then theres the map design.
If your a vetran killer player with a load of perks that signficantly helps but not everyone has corrupt on plague unlocked for instance.

If the normal Survivor Mains that are going Killer aren't the toxic ones, then why is there an increase in the Killer toxicity in these event?
0 -
People feel that they aren’t punished for playing in a scummy way because they are still getting a ton of bloodpoints.
2 -
BTW, with the massive BP gains of sometimes 200k per match, I finally embarked on my journey to P3 my killers. An hour ago I P1 Jin, and I am looking forward to her full, bloody outfit :)

That still doesn't address the average casual Players feeling frustrated when they let someone escape or get killed. Besides as Killer don't you get more Bloodpoints if you kill everyone? (same as Survivor, more BP if you escape right?)
0 -
You don’t as many bloodpoints when you camp and tunnel because you’re not doing as many chases, pallet and gen breaks, etc.
2 -
LOL!
hmm.. camp and force the spread out sheep to come to me so i can get more chases and downs, or waste 20-35 second crossing the map every single hook to eventually start a chase after they are pre warned by their buddy on the hook and run early.
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Agreed, so that's why those new to Killer does these considered "Toxic" things, They don't know these things so prefer to Kill everyone with the most efficient way possible(during a BP boosting event no less). Being Toxic.
The people who don't know these are new to Killer ie. Casual Survivor Mains that are trying Killer.

I don’t know what kind of lobbies you’re getting where survivors will run toward you like suicidal lemmings and not just do gens when you’re camping
4 -
The last match I played for the day was a comp pyramid who tunneled me out at 5 gens. This argument expects me to believe that most killers during the event are new to killer unless I am horribly mistaken.
2 -
Toxic survivors? The survivors did it.
Toxic killers? The survivors did it.
Oh, to be free of sin.
5 -
You "walk away" then just turn around and 9.9/10 times one of the lemmings is already running in for the save. Now you have one on hook, one in chase and force another to save.
0 -
If that’s what you’re doing, then yes, you will get bloodpoints.
what I am referring to is staying extremely territorial around hooked survivors and not committing to any chases.
2 -
No way you're 12 hooking unless you lose a lot
0 -
Nah
Been on a decent win streak and I've been hooking 12's pretty consistently
0 -
Only way that's happening is if you barely play killer and your mmr is low, It's easy to abuse if you main survivor and swap to killer to 12H/4k babies all day then switch to a different killer.
If you play killer a lot, there is no way you 12 hook and still win most games. Nurse maybe
