Forced Cross play is bad

Pretty much fed up with PC players while I'm on console.

Anybody saying PC players don't have some advantages are lying to themselves because they probably play on PC.

Console vs console is fine. PC players should be matched against PC players.

This event has brought every single sweat PC player in the game. That's how it seems at least. Average kills when I'm against all console, 2 - 3.

Average kills against PC players, 1 if I'm lucky and they don't all dive bomb the hook during egc while having BT, DH, DS, and any other meta perk that people love to use.

Whole other conversation around perks, sure. Just, all of them combined when I am trying to secure 1 kill knowing that if they get the unhook, I literally can't do anything to secure the kill, it feels bad man.

Could also just be the garbage matchmaking right now.

Either way, this is one of the only game that I need to take month long breaks from because it just isn't fun half the way when I want to play killer.

You can just turn it off in the settings menu. I do agree that a console exclusive cross play would be ideal, but we'll never get that

If you want to never get a game, yes. It stops you from matching other console players who have crossplay turned on.

    Ok, few things

If you play dbd with the xbox, it would still be a possibility of playing with pc players that play through the microsoft store, so that alone kind of breaks this idea completely - same with stadia which you can play on a phone tv or pc. Realistically the only thing this could do is make a switch player only play against switch players, and psX player play with only psX players.

I also think this is bad for the game health, queues have gotten so much better with full crossplay and I'd rather not wait 10 minutes for a killer game.

I say this as someone who plays survivor on controller and killer on m+kb (and used to play killer with controller and play occasionally on console), other than ranged killer, kb+m offers little advantage and even then it just takes getting used to - I've encountered some incredible console nurses/huntress players.

As a survivor, there is literally nothing you can't do on kb+m that you can't do on controller - hell, you can even moonwalk (but that is just harder) and that's not even an advantage.

Edit: also, how do you know they are on pc? It doesn't even tell you - if they are on any other platform it shows the globe, it doesn't tell if they are pc or not

Nope. Pretty much disables everything and you never find a match. Last time I also checked there wasn't even that option. Which is unfortunate
