Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

EAC Client Cannot Be Instantiated

So I was playing Legion on the Yamaoka Estate, and everything is playing normally. At around ~7 minutes to survivor I'm chasing is running headfirst into a wall, I can no longer attack, and my Feral Frenzy isn't ending despite the meter running out, and the I'm kicked from the session. I return to the main menu before it gives me this error and force shuts the game. Is this something that needs fixing on my end?

I doubt it, as this happened to me and my friend in the same match earlier today, and I believe it happened to me yesterday as well. Seems to be something wrong with the game atm.

The nice thing is that it didn't give me a ban timer, but I certainly hope it doesn't become more common throughout the weekend. That'd put a damper on trying to play the event.

It never happened to me when I was ingame, but sometimes I can't start my game because of this error, but it usually works if I try a second time.

It is a fairly recent problem for me, it started in the last two or three weeks.

This has happened to me 5 times the past 2 days. Twice in a chase, once going for an unhook, once on the hook, last night I was on a gen. DC penalty everytime, the most recent was 30 minutes.

I'm hesitant to play again, because my next dc penalty will be an hour. I'm on Steam.

I've got that issue once since the update. I got kicked out of the match. I was playing Dredge on RPD.

Restarting the game fixed the issue.

Restarting hasn't solved the issue for me. It keeps happening. I have verified files, everything is fine there. My internet is perfectly fine as well. Yesterday I completely uninstalled & reinstalled - I haven't played yet.
