Why are the anniversary masks for Survivors put on their default headpiece?
They need to change it cause on some Survivors, it doesn’t look that good. Ace his hat ruins the Masquerade and you can barely see Yui’s masquerade since her hair is blocking it. What do you guys think about it? Hopefully they will change it so it will look better for them.

I can't speak for any of the Survivors, I main Steve, but Artist looks so gorgeous. Finally a good head piece since her release.

Look at deathslingers mask combined with the 4th year anniversary outfit and tell me that it doesn't blend perfectly

Artist's mask really makes me want to main her, but I'm quite terrible with her power.
I wish their masks and anniversary crowns were like charms so you could equip it with any head cosmetic.

Yeah, Prestige, Anniversary Crowns and Masquerade Masks shouldn't be cosmetics and instead should be like a filter you can apply to any cosmetic.
I don't see it, but even if I did, it'd match her Dire Crows

Anyway, I'm fine with all of the default heads except Ace. That cap really ruins the vibe. Deathslinger's hat blends in perfectly with his mask and that union was done well, but Ace needs to take off the cap.
I doubt they'd work as clip-ons to existing cosmetics; there would be major clipping with any other cosmetic that involves masks or even hats.

The masks look absolutely amazing, but I agree some of them are hard to see (Yui & Elodie bc of their hair), also agree that some of them would be better on other heads (Ace bc of his hat, also i don't like Mikaela's base hair so i never use it but maybe that's just me lol).
In a perfect world we would be able to add them to any cosmetic that already exist, same for previous crowns, but i think it would be a lot of work (for the masks at least, I can't imagine floating crowns having clipping issues with any cosmetics).

I agree that I would like the masks and crowns a lot more if we could apply them to different cosmetics. I doubt that will ever happen, though. The road they've chosen to go down is baking them into a head cosmetic instead of creating a new cosmetic category, which would have been a lot more work. It's a shame, because it means I'll never use some of them, since I don't like some of the default heads.

Mikaela having her hat on really ticks me off. Her mask should not be on her default head. She has other heads with no hat and more fitting hairstyles which would have suited the mask much better and not required a new sculpt.
I also don't like Deathslinger's mask being so obscured by his hat, that one was a real disappointment considering how cool it'd be otherwise.

Don't ask me there's been complaints of anniversary cosmetics being defaulted to base heads since year 4 I guess they can't add another cosmetic selection called "special" or something

Yeah it's a shame cosmetics like that can't be mixed with other head pieces, Because I think Jane has one of the worst default hairs (the bun looks very weird and I would personally love to see Jane get a remodel like the other survivors got so that it can also change her hair) and it would look nice on other hair pieces

She's the only character with really long hair I think ther than that one Felix one.
