Wasting my cakes....

This is why im not usin any more cakes on survivor. 1 person DCs on first hook, next person offs themselves on first hook, then the 2 of us left try like hell to make the best outta crap situation. For what?! So i can get less BP than i would in a match where ppl actually play?! Right now, 4 outta 5 matches end like this for me. Its not even enough to go through a web for more cakes.

Yeah, I'm getting crappy teammates. It sucks. The killer queue is too long to be worth waiting in, but as survivor there can be 4 flans burned and I'm still only making as much as I would a normal killer match with just BBQ. Where the hell is that incentivized bonus for playing the side that needs more players? Right now playing at all feels stupid and not worth it in the least.

You still got a bonus 15k for using that cake, which will be enough to get you another one.

    Nothing was wasted.

They wasted their own BP, but you're fine.

What are you going to do with all your hoarded cakes? Save them for a game in 6 months time where you also get tunneled out and get 15k or less?

At least if you use them now, you have thr opportunity to buy more, getting more BP in the long run.

Meanwhile the killer got 35k PLUS the flan points. Just stop bringing cakes, its really not worth it if you play soloq. All you do is encourage killers to play as dirty as possible cause they will always get more points than the survivors.

And others are farming or playing chill. Personally, I'm 2-hooking teams that bring flan and killing the ones who don't.

Use your cakes now so you can buy more cakes. It's not like anything different will happen if you use them half a year from now - people not showing mercy is nothing new under the sun. But in those future games, you won't have 3 or 4 other flans in effect so that you rake in the bloodpoints even on lost games, and you won't have oodles more flan in the bloodweb. So unless you're going to go full "I'm not going to use my cakes because I don't want anyone to get extra bloodpoints if my opponents get more than me", you may as well keep going, you know?

No I simply say "don't use them in soloq". Why give extra BPs to a camping and tunneling killer and/or team mates who don't do ######### but are crouched in a corner waiting for everyone to die so they can take the hatch?

Again, bitterness and spite clouding your judgement.

Even if you have crappy teammates and a dirty killern unless you're getting less than 10k it's still worth using a cake for the fact that it'll get you your next one or more.

As long as you get enough points to buy another cake, does it even matter?

Besides, I'll complain about solo as much as anyone else, but it's not always that braindead. There are far more people I'd like to give BP to or are neutral about (mostly I'm neutral about them) than ones that I go "damn it, and they profited off my offering too, the scumbag." You figure for every game where one dip ragequits, there's two other innocent teammates involved. And if the killer's a 5-gen tunneler or a basement Bubba - unless you hate your teammates too, you're still helping more survivors than you are killers.

Like my normal rule of thumb is to never use streamers in solo because those games are too unreliable, but right now, I have enough flan to use every match, and I can basically always buy more afterward, so why wouldn't I?

This is literally what I'm doing. For every flan brought by the survivors, 1 of them survives. A full flan spread - I'll 2 hook you all and you'll get out.

However, there hasn't been a single day today where everyone has survived...step it up, survivors!

I use brown offerings , 50% on my personal goals, but zero cakes.

I do not give points to SWF abusers or SoloQ selfish team mates, I keep that flans for me.

I guess I'm very lucky, most games are 4-5 Cakes πŸŽ‚

Maybe there is a hidden mechanic which pairs you with more people using them as well, if YOU use them all the time πŸ˜‰

It's the luck of the draw. I've seen everything from 1 cake (me) to 4 cakes today. Have yet to see 5.

No i’m not gonna stop using Flans because the killer got more points than me, that usually happens anyways so why should it be a problem now?

You do you. I am just saying that I don't bring any cakes in my soloq matches. As killer? Yes absolutely! But soloq? Never ever!

Hi I'm pretty sure I was the nemesis in this game (although I might not be!), and I made a forum account just to post this so it took a while to get approved before I could post.

I felt really bad about the DC, despite it making the game easier on me I know how much is sucks for survivors to get a disconnect early on because it sets the team back so badly. Plus it really felt like a rage quit and not an unavoidable DC which makes it worse.

That being said, you shouldn't feel like you're "wasting" your cakes! They only cost 3k bloodpoints, so as long as you do even a little tiny bit okay in the match you're coming out with a profit and so does everyone else. There's no need to feel spiteful towards others so much so that you set your own goals back!

I know the game can be frustrating (I am a killer main after all) but don't let a handful of bad experiences set you back so much that you let it ruin the event. I know that I've at least personally let survivors go after getting a few hooks just as many times as I've played the game normally, and no matter what everyone is coming out of it with more points than they normally would.

Keep your chin up, and remember that the bad moments always seem to stick out more than the good ones but there's plenty of fun to be had

Hello, welcome to the forum πŸ™‚

Let the pain n anguish wash over you like a cool summer breeze (its not as bad as the 1st page makes it look lol).

The frustrating part is these are good results in event solo q. Solo is always bad, but this is just nuts. I can count on 1 hand the number of matches ive had that played out decently. Im not talking everbody farms n escapes, just regular well-played matches...win or lose. 95% of my games so far have been early DCs/give ups, or killers that hard tunnel off first hooks until everyone is dead.

Usually I average 25k BP in a match. Add WGLF n standard cakes, get around 75k.

This event, majority of games, survivors barely walk out with 10-15k (in a good match). On average i see 2-3 cakes in a match (even when i use em), so were talkin totals around 45k BP with the added irritation of not bein able to play decent matches.

And yes ppl, i play killer. I use cakes on killer n rack up tons of points. Its just been my experience so far that usin em in solo q is a waste. But i have to play survivor for tome challenges, ergo...suffering.

Wing, if that was you, you suck for murdering my face off 😁 jk, i dont blame you for playin the game. Hope we meet again someday....vengeance shall be mine!! 🀣

I wish events like these had a separate game mode, which you could only enter by paying with cake.
