Can cheaters make you DC ?

I was getting a strong upper hand in a game, then it lagged and after that i got a DC followed by this screen.

    Yes, They can. Had a Haddie (the hacker) against a huntress. tried to give the huntress a kill, she insta killed me on hook. and when i viewed there steam profile steam "crashed" not the same as a dc but yeah

    I'm almost positive they can, If I remember correctly there was a whole thing involving cheaters/hackers streamsniping streamers and giving them excessively long DC penalties.

    In this case without specifying whether you think the survivors were cheating or not we just have to assume it was bad connection or one of the many other issues that DBD has.

    happened to me 4 times already, Super sweaty match. Toxic SWF and me close to winning. 2 out of those times were Trapper.

    I've had that happen a few times.

    I'm hoping it's just my internet sucking and not my opponent's moral compass, but there's always a chance.

    Since some cheats can manipulate Hook States(which is server side), definitely.

    i had a claud deadhard to hook and then keep running and my blink got stuck and the game and eac crashed. 1 pc player. he didnt show up in my recents soooo
