Resurgence shadow nerf

Since we got new hemorrhage buff, sloppy and other perks became good.

But that also means that Resurgence became fully unusable against it. This perk isn't that meta, and nerfing it like that makes me feel sick(on comprasion with dh "buff").

Should it really be like that? It also kills Solidarity as well...

Upd(to those who told and want to tell me "this perk is bad use anlther etc.": i don't like current meta, so now I pick every perk

Honestly, having a survivor perk be trumped by a killer perk sounds balanced.

Maybe I’m missing something, but isn’t Resurrgence still useful in that if someone heals you immediately after unhooking you the health bar is already 50% finished when they start? It’s only weak against Sloppy Butcher in the sense that if you delay healing yourself after an unhook then you’ll lose that bonus. So it’s weaker against Sloppy Butcher but still gives a time savings if you heal immediately.

I mean it is, unless you have another term for an 'indirect but de facto nerf'.

It's much along the same lines as things like larger maps being a shadow nerf to M1 killers, or lighter maps being a shadow nerf to Trapper, etc.

Resurgence wasn't touched at all, the healing mechanic was. Yes, Resurgence has become much less effective, but it wasn't a 'shadow nerf', because that would require it having been changed in any way AND for the devs to not notice anyone about it.

Yes, that's called an 'indirect nerf'. :p

A shadow nerf is when they directly nerf something but they don't tell anyone about it.

Resurgance was already not a good perk beforehand. In my opinion it should receive a rework in that it prevents the bleeding from Hemorrhage as well. And I say this as someone who plays a lot of killer and started using Sloppy Butcher again now. 😉

Shadow nerf is a nerf that doesnt appear on the patch notes nor the PTR, for example "after the patch Sprint Burst gives you 80/70/60 Exhaustion and in the notes doesnt say anything and in the PTR was 60/50/40".

What they did to Resurgence is an indirect nerf, when you buff or nerf something and said change affects another thing because its linked, they didnt touch Resurgence but the change to the status effect made it indirectly much worse.

Resurgence is trash perk, don't consider using it. We'll make it is 10 times better. Untill Resurgence gives like 75% heal, there is no reason to even think about equipping it.

I mean... it's survivor perk, you can use whatever you want and still have good time.
