Why do survivors become so toxic around specific Killers?
I noticed survivors become really obnoxious when playing some of the weakest Killers in the game like Ghostface, Pig, Clown, Legion and Freddy. Why?

Because if you play badly they will do that.
I had that experience before when I first played DBD since 2020.

Because those killers are weak and lack lethality which makes them easy to bully. There’s no intimidation factor around them at all.

not me for sure i hate blights (constanly using Alch ring and the iri addon that breaks pallets) and nurses (bringing massive slowdown when they are already good with nurse) and just making matches awful to play against.
ghostace is fun for me , pig the same , clown is just not "fun" but not "unfun" either is just OK , Legion nothing to say about i like the music and m1 killer playstyle , freddy is OK but Pallet freddy is more "fun" compared to the snares IMO.

That's the thing, I would still just absolutely annihilate all of these toxic people. Got a 4K as literally every single one of these so in reality the Killers aren't that trash if they're just played well. So why just assume someone is bad unless they're playing Nurse and get absolutely mercilessly stomped?
Why would you do that if you're just as upset at OP killers + OP addons + OP perks + tunneling, camping etc.? You're just encouraging normal decent Killers to play obnoxiously just to spite you when you clicky clicky with a flashlight lol.
PS: TOTALLY with you on BMing an obnoxious Rancor, NOED, Undying Nurse or ######### like an AFK Pig camping a puzzle box, I'm just totally against BMing normal Killers who are avoiding bad and toxic tactics.

Personally Freddy for me along with Pig are the two worst Killers in the game with the weakest addons, idk why they don't get a buff. Freddy is so unfun with his snares but he's kinda alright with his pallets? The whole Dream gimmick isn't crazy useful and for Pig, the beartraps aren't very useful either.

i know thats why am sad freddy didnt got nothing unique when he got nerfed , same for pig , the beartraps are just a wasting time mechanic with nothing else not even a minigame or something.

I seriously do not understand who thinks NOED, Rancor, 4 Dead Hards, Decisive Strikes and Boon is a fun game. It's just a drag.

Because they know the killer has nothing in there arsenal to combat them. So they get cocky and Abuse them.

In regards to legion a large majority of survivor players can't stand playing against em so they probably act toxic for those reasons

If I do anything intentionally rude to a killer its probably not because of the player just I simply just hate facing that killer, like Trickster, I don’t hate the people who play him I just despise him

I feel that but that can still come off as hating the player, not the specific Killer. Not like Trickster is crazy good anyway lol

Oh no I know trickster isn’t good and I usually apologize about it to the player if they are on the same platform as me, I just find trickster to be extremely annoying and unfun to face

Most of the survivor playerbase is like that: When the killer crushes them, they cry, whine and get salty, doing numerous excuses about why the killer won, even against their crutch perks. When the killer is having a hard game due to braindead loops and their second chance perks to carry them while genrushing, they mock the killer and feel full of themselves. Even then, the killer should play for their fun, otherwise the killer is considered toxic.

Because players are just people and people can be petty and childish.
This can be especially true when it comes to not getting what they want.
You know that cliché kid who throws themselves on the floor and screams when they don't get what they want or...
The kid who throws a tantrum and leaves "I'm taking my ball home" because they aren't winning.
There's the victim, you know "the world is out to get me and it always someone else's fault oh woe is me"
The ego maniac whom becomes defensive and aggressive if made to feel vulnerable at all.
etc etc...
We are all prone to this negative thinking sometimes, but some never develop emotionally beyond the tantrum throwing kid.
That kid now plays online games.
(and is probably in their 20's-30's so its an emotional development flatline).

I find Toxic survivors to be one of the few things DBD hasn’t thought about fixing. Even killers have (some tiny) draw backs for being toxic. Yet you can have a tea bagging survivor sitting between 3 separate pallet locations throwing down a flash bomb (literally a free firecracker) and DHing to another Pallet location. Smashing the crouch button.
Like I get that Killers face camp but is it on the same scale as Survivors activity being bullies? It’s like Shawn of the dead zombie practice sometimes.

Overconfidence. They see what they perceive to be a weaker killer and get bold.
I typically see the most surv BM in two scenarios:
- They feel untouchable (i.e. at the exit)
- They are getting wrecked and are frustrated/giving up (but not willing to DC)

"WHY YOU CAMPINNN TUNNELIN UHHH you were camping that hook because you weren't at least 40 meters away from it so we could healspam our entire team with a Boon totem in 15 seconds"
YES, and because of this it's very funny and satisfying to use things like Deathslinger's Iri coin, Blood Warden and ranged killers on people. Their soul vacates their body as soon as you actually get power in that situation and they're fully powerless to stop you, that 2 minute chase one Jill puts you in and then teabags every time suddenly becomes a distant memory to EVERYONE LOL
I mean a teabagging survivor isn't a gameplay thing really, just a BMing thing while facecamping is kind of gameplay related.

Nurse: People playing her make SoloQ even more miserable than it already is, they don't deserve mercy or sympathy and should be BM-ed as much as humanly possible.
Blight: See Nurse
Spirit: See Nurse
Freddy/PH/Nemesis: The most likely to be hardcore tunneling from moment one, so they ellicit the kneejerk reaction of "####, I can't go down first!"

Makes me laugh when people get toxic around me when I'm playing Trickster. Most of those people are overconfident that they can bully me simply because I'm playing a weaker killer :)

They nerfed her several times over, Blight is really tough to use but with Spirit I'm still kinda with you there. There's a bit of RNG, survivors should be able to hear the Spirit almost as well as she can hear them. It's a little overpowered and needs working counterplay.
Totally disagreed with all your other opinions though, Blight is really not a free win killer. Sure he has the best map pressure in the game but he's insanely hard to use and to loop with unless you're actually good. Just holding W doesn't work on him as it shouldn't and you should feel bad for thinking it should work like that at all.

This behaviour really makes learning any new killers disheartening, and maining trapper and ghostface myself doesn't make it much different usually anyway. Makes you really wonder why any new player would even stay sometimes.
I try to play fair but I've had a few times where I've not had a great day and someone has been toxic enough for me to slug them. But I would much rather not have to end up getting annoyed enough to do that when I've had a stressful day and want to just play a game to let off steam. But people will be asshats when they can hide behind a screen.

Yesterday I was playing Wraith. I had Franklin and a guy had a powerful flashlight. Naturally I didn't want him to get it but he kept going back to grab it, and I kept smaking it out of his hands. He disconnected and waited until the end to complain about me tunneling him (I had only hooked him once) xD.
I'll take fries with that salt.

OHHH I feel that, I've started taking Franklin's a lot more in higher Killer grades from the sheer damn amount of FLASHLIGHTS and MEDKITS and Boon Circle of Healing PLUS medkit.
Lmao what is wrong with him?? He got what he ######### deserved, I mean you weren't even playing as a crazy overpowered KIller? What an idiot. Seriously.

Who is even gonna dare play any Killers they personally consider fun if they're not "meta", like sometimes that attitude Survivors have makes me wanna play 5 rounds of Doctor with good addons just to brutally punish Survivors. They really deserve it sometimes.
