Not getting a mask after game?

So i had this game and all i did was get the mask at the start then i escaped at the end. no gens no healing... Now before you call me trash teammate well i was hook camped -_-

Anyways all 4 of us escaped, after the match i didnt get the mask now was it just a bug with some half okay coincidence or do you actually need to do gens and stuff?

I've gotten about 7 masks and all of them were on normal non hookcamped games against normal killers (i know that you need to have it until all gens are done or hatch is available then it doesnt matter if you die or not)

and obviously NO i dont really care about that mask im just curious if they made it so you cant run urban evasion left behind and light weight as a combo to just get the mask by hiding not doing anything :)

    No, there's no secret perk combo that prevents the collection of event rewards.

    It's possible you got a mask but didn't get the notification, or that you did and missed it since it goes by fast.

    Also possible it's a bug. But as long as you collected the invitation before the endgame and then survived until a gate was opened you should have received a mask.

    I wanst talking about the perk combo itself. I ran normal perks what i mean is that maybe they added something so you cant hide and just get the mask and then keep hiding. The perk thing was just an example of what you could do and if it was there to prevent it.

    I did go through all the masks 3 times (killer and survivor) i hadn't gotten any new masks nor did my friend in discord see a new mask.


    I just watched JRMs vid and on one part someone in his chat said that you needed to do gens and stuff to get it (after getting the invitation ofc) and since i was hook camped all game i couldnt do gens etc. So i just thought that it maybe was a logical reason :)

    And as i said i got it at the start of the game and escaped so i should have gotten it, Im just gonna assume it was a bug then, Thanks for your time anyways!

    I am having this problem too. I don't think that there is a mask connected to every invitation. I have escaped and it will say crown obtained, but it never shows which one or how many left to get and then other times i get an invitation and it doesn't say crown obtained and it doesn't show me either. So, i am just as confused about getting the crowns as well. I am still trying to figure it out.
