HE'S BAAAAACK!
Every chapter, Dbd releases a spotlight trailer to highlight the new killer, survivor, and map. These used to feature a narrator with a wonderful voice to showcase all the new chapter has to offer. But after A Binding of Kin, he kind of just stopped narrating and instead these spotlight trailers went without commentary.
A surprisingly large amount of people cared about this, including me. Some people even thought he died, a rumor that I'm ashamed to say I bought into. But as you can tell by the title of this thread, he's back to narrate the Roots of Dread spotlight trailer. I love the direction they took with this one, both with the more creative cinematography and editing as well as with the narrator changing up the formula with how he walks us through the new content. Comparing this to the first spotlight trailers, it's amazing to see how far BHVR has come.

I was glad too but I'm disappointed that we didn't get one for All-Kill through Sadako Rising.
I guess we still have those short clips of the characters doing the most basic game actions LMAO.

I was DEVASTED when we didn't get one for All-Kill.
Just imagine in the finale of the spotlight, it shows the dead bodies of 3 random survivors in front of the Trickster but it shows Yun-Jin staring at him face to face from a distance while the camera zooms in at her pissed-off face... OOOOOOH I would've loved that so much.

I wonder why they didn't do one All-Kill to Sadako Rising? Did they ever give a reason? I'm happy he's back though
