The Onryō feels genuinely terrible to play.
I know there are some people who love this killer, but I honestly just, genuinely do not enjoy playing her, I enjoyed playing pre change trapper more than this killer, her design is amazing and almost as good as the dredge, but her power it doesn't feel like a power.
Here are in my opinion which you can choose to agree or disagree with is that she isn't a very good mobility killer she has mobility, but its not as good, because sometimes she can't even make use of it at times. She isn't a good stealth killer she has a lullaby for who knows why. She isn't a good hit and run killer, because her mobility is rng dependent and its like the nightmare in terms of its a resource, but the problem is the tvs aren't like generators and can spawn in the most awful places imaginable.
In my personal opinion The Onryō is a killer with lots of additions to her kits and things added on, but she is so balanced with none of them being in particular the defining thing of her kit that it just makes it feel like she is a trapper without traps that can teleport sometimes with a passive that isn't really a passive and is just pure rng.

She could have been good but it feels like when the developers came up with her the Dredge was already being thought up and they kinda had to restrict what they could do with her so they could give it all to Dredge instead.
There should have also been wells around the map that she can teleport to as well for example.

She's not great but something I learned recently that actually helped a surprising amount is that she has built in whispers. If you look at a TV and it's playing the tape a survivor is within 16m of the TV otherwise it'll be static.

Ive gotten a lot of 4ks with her completely ignoring the tvs and just going hit and run.
