It's been chaotic with the influx of players, for sure. I think it may have scrambled the MMR a bit, and you have people picking up the game for the first time in a long time, ad resorting to anything to "win".

I will say I have been legit tunneled/camped more times in the past few days than in the previous six months, probably.

What I'm tired of is teammates body blocking me so I go down because they want the extra points unhooking in the killer's face and getting me killed, or so they can attempt a flashlight save. For all the times I've been forced to go down by a flashlight carrier, I've seen someone get the flashlight save once, and it didn't help me. I'm sick of dying to this crap.

    Play killer.

Play survivor during a different time of the day. It really makes a big difference.

@xfireturtlex everyone is experiencing this. It’s the anniversary event bringing out new players, casuals, & returning players who have not kept up with current events in the community. A lot of them don’t understand how to make the flans work for everyone effectively, nor there is no better time than now to care less about escaping, and invest more into being a well rounded teammate, doing everything. Some stay stuck on gens, others are stuck on goofing off, a lot throw tantrums & DC like babies, and the rest are just clueless altogether.

‘Don’t let it stress you out. Just do the best you can, play the best you can- and enjoy the rewards/BP the challenges and the event gives. You won’t be able to carry these ‘outsiders,’ half the time. That’s for sure.

Also, I think this event has marked the first time in my 3 years of DBD where my killer queue times were consistently longer than my surv times. Very strange.

Nah that’s frustration after dealing with a lot of unfun matches, beyond his control. I know how he feels. We’ve all been there at some point. Let him vent.

This... Twice today I've been hook farmed by someone with a flashlight and no BT. It's some pretty nasty bloodpoint farming.

It is frustration, and yeah, definitely needed to vent. I also posted it in part cuz i actually like this game n i want BHVR to see these types of posts in the hopes that theyll make things better, for everyone in the game. It feels like were on an unchecked backslide lately....n it probly pisses me off more than it should. These things (on survivor or killer side) arent new, but they seem to be getting worse.

i have almost no problems during the event. maybe because i'm in europe and people aren't even close to the toxic levels as in North America.

I don't necessarily think people are being more toxic, I just think there is an influx of new/rusty players, and people are going into event matches with an array of different priorities.

    Just a little chaotic, imo.

This. Survivor times are near instant, killer times are as long as survivor times used to be. I do both but generally prefer to be on killer so I can give people a chase but ultimately not kill anyone. That said if more people want to play killer, I'll play survivor to speed things along.

For what it's worth here in Australia, normally there have been off games but I encountered my first basement Insidious Bubba during this event. Played against Corrupt Intervention+Hex: Ruin, Hag and Nurse more times in the event then I have in the entire game I've played the game (2 and a bit months) and I've had some frustrating games but I think that's true regardless on solo survivor. Overall I'd definitely say toxicity levels on both sides is 'slightly' higher but not excessively.

It's most likely because of the event. People have been playing greedy/sweaty during this whole event.
