oh no no, he was just quoting an old horror movie called The Thing, and the artwork he chose also gives a bit of a callback for the scene!

My favorite film but i dont think it would work in dbd. The only thing that I can think of that would work is to make it so that the killer converts survivors to the other side, but swf or altruistic survivors can ruin that. Unless they turn into ai.

yeah I see it mostly coming as a Paragraph with only the survivor, a killer would be quite tricky imo to get not only because of the gimmick but also since in the movie itself it's not like the monster has a specific appearence to use as base (like we have Pinhead, Freddy, Sadako and others).

The Thing takes various forms but generally serves the same function. All the forms could just be skins. I think my favorite was the lady from the prequel that turned with her chest burst open and head hanging back. Creepy. I think if they do anything The Thing they have to bring in the organism as the killer. Otherwise itd be a dud imo.
