We have temporarily disabled Firecrackers and the Flashbang Perk due to a bug which could cause the Killer's game to crash. These will be re-enabled in an upcoming patch when the issue is resolved.

Wraith: while uncloaking, releasing m2 to stay cloaked ignores the next uncloaking attempt.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Launch DBD on Live.
  2. Play as Wraith in a public match.
  3. Enter cloak.
  4. Hold m2 to begin uncloaking
  5. Let go of m2 to cancel uncloaking, and quickly hold m2 again.

Observed Results:

If you begin holding m2 too soon after releasing it, that subsequent m2 input is ignored. You can hold it as long as you like, nothing will happen. All other controls work fine, but the game acts like you haven't touched m2 and you have to release it and wait a split second longer to actually be able to uncloak.

Expected Results:

Attempts to uncloak would always work, regardless of how recently or frequently the player attempts it.

This is something Wraith players do a lot to reposition & time their uncloak more precisely, and given that uncloaking even just 12% faster is worthy of being a purple addon, every split second counts. Especially after the post-uncloaking speed nerf.

Notes:

  • This has been the case since Wraith got his basekit nerfed back in 5.3.0, I was just too depressed to bother writing up a report.
